H-1B reform needs your voice.
DHS and USCIS have a proposed rule, "Removing Deference to Prior USCIS Determinations of Eligibility," scheduled to publish in the Federal Register on Oct 14.
What it does:
• Removes 8 CFR 214.1(c)(5)
• USCIS would no longer have to defer to a prior approval when an H-1B, L-1 or other I-129 petition is extended
• Every extension stands on its own record
DHS's reasons: the burden of proof belongs on the petitioner, program integrity, fraud prevention, and protecting U.S. workers.
The same test we run on PERM ads applies here. If a seat is real, it should hold up to a fresh look.
Comments open Oct 14 for 30 days, due about Nov 13. Tell them you support it, feel free to add that it’s important to build capability and capacity as we reestablish the American system.

The details of the rape charge Russell Brand was convicted of are as follows: A woman who had a threesome with him and put her tongue in his anus five minutes after meeting him (whilst in a relationship) later claimed that non-consensual anal sex occurred. As much as I’ve always disliked Brand, her account is dubious. There was no forensic evidence, no CCTV footage, no physical evidence of any sort and the report was made 20 years after the alleged incident took place.
A more plausible explanation is that Brand, being the degenerate he is, used the woman for his pleasure, and rudely discarded her afterwards. Regretting a sexual encounter is not the same as rape. Brand faces 10-15 years for this charge alone (if her account is true, I am gladdened by the punishment).
However, compare Brand’s case to that of Jameel Ahmed, a Pakistani in Bradford convicted of four counts of rape of a 12 year old girl. He was sentenced to just 8 years, and with the early release scheme he is likely out in a few years. In Ahmed’s case, unlike Brands, there was both forensic and physical evidence. 8 years.
Britain has a two-tier justice system. It’s as simple as that.

Has anyone asked Katy Perry if she accepts the idea that she was once married to a serial rapist? Interestingly, this photo of the couple was taken in October 2009 -- only a few months after the rape for which Russell Brand was just convicted allegedly took place?

Every federal judicial vacancy that can be filled in this lame duck should be filled. Lifetime seats don’t wait for the next majority. All-nighters beat empty benches. Advice and consent is a power—use it while you have it.

Any Republican urging President Trump to reverse course on immigration, or criticizing his choice of @StephenM as chief of staff, should look at the data. (*cough* @RepStutzman *cough*)
Exit polls showed that President Trump’s immigration policies were among the most popular with voters.
The administration’s success securing the border actually worked against us in the midterms because the issue disappeared from the campaign trail because the border was no longer a crisis. We probably could’ve and should’ve messaged that better, but the underlying reality is unchanged.
Americans want secure borders and safe cities. President Trump and Stephen Miller will deliver both.

Rape is wrong i'm not saying it isn't but this is also very suspicious to me and we see daily these foreigners in our country walking away with a slap on the hand for doing the most unbelievable things , it does ring alarm bells when the law is most definitely favouring what we see is flooding our country and the same with those been here that actually should know our law by now but have taken advantage knowing they will get hardly anything thrown at them only to do the same again , like i said rape is disgusting but this feels again a little off?? Thoughts?

Trump has 34-plus judges waiting to be confirmed, and Thune will not confirm them. Why is Thune blocking Trump's recess appointments? That's why people hate the Republican Party right now.

Dear Mrs @NikkiHaley , the tariffs are creating American manufacturing jobs. Despite your Chamber of Commerce talking points, the sectors of the economy with the biggest tariffs have the strongest job growth.

In November 2024, after losing the Senate, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats confirmed 22 federal judges before Republicans took over.
So far, John Thune and the Republicans have confirmed ZERO judges since the 2026 midterms.
I'm sure it's just a matter of Senate tradition.
Right, John Thune?

The precedent has been set that a man can be convicted of rape and go to prison for the rest of his life based on nothing more than a "she said" 20 years after the fact - no matter how slaggish and willing the actions of the women involved. Every single man alive is now at risk.
