If you pray, you assume GOD is hearing you, right? Well, why exactly do you think GOD is hearing right now, at this very moment, the prayer you pray to Him? No really, think about it. What is your reason to think that GOD is operating in the same time as you?

King Arthur was cursed with a strange disease, and only an old, ugly witch could cure him...
But the witch demanded a young, handsome knight as her husband; Galahad took one for the team and married her.
On the night of the wedding, the witch turned into a beautiful woman and offered Galahad the choice: she could be old and ugly during the day, and young and beautiful at night, or vice versa.
Galahad told her that he respected her choice over her appearance, and she could decide that.
The witch was pleased, as Galahad knew what a woman wanted the most, is freedom over her body. She told Galahad that she would be a beautiful wife all the time for him.
The moral of the story is that no matter how good your wife looks, she is still a witch underneath.

The most interesting thing about marriage discussions is that those who are not married are the most opinionated on the matter. Such a hilarious trend. 😭
Jesus gave 2-3 clear directions and opted out of marriage issues.
When it was Paul's time, he was able to offer more counsel.
Maybe people didn't realise how much Jesus ran away from human nature issues.
He barely attended to any rifts, conflicts, and disputes at any level. Jesus avoided earthly issues almost completely. He focused squarely on preaching about the Kingdom and healing the sick. This is the reason every Christian must tread with caution when addressing certain issues.
One thing is clear: there are many issues in marriage nowadays that are never captured in the Bible. The reason is simple: most of those issues were not existing or, at best, were not presented before Jesus, Paul, and the Apostles. Even under the Law, Moses couldn't capture the issues we have right now.
What is the solution? Let the pastors and elders judge each matter on its merits.
Our rigid and unkind approach to marriage is why Christians are dying in marriage, and many others are unhappy. I know lots of couples in their 50s and 60s who want a divorce right now. They stayed because of their children, and their children have left. Churches are battling to keep them together. Let pastors and wise elders judge each case on its merits.
Serial marital cheats
Financial abuse
Emotional abuse
Sexual abuse
Physical abuse
Financial issues...
These are deadly issues in marriage, and they are prevalent in modern marriages.
Most people running commentary here have never been married, or you are still in the honeymoon phase.
If a couple divorces, please, no one should be subjected to the torture of mental, emotional, physical, and sexual loneliness for the rest of their lives. It's an unpleasant place to be. Let people remarry.
Don't let people die.
Like I said, only singles and young folks like myself are busy running commentary with almost no understanding of what they are talking about.

You have a principal, who brought you stardom and increased political and social capital.
Your principal has the support of millions of Nigerians whose hope are resting on his shoulders.
Your principal announced that no matter the circumstances, situations and challenges; he must be on the ballot.
A coalition came up, formed by Atiku and his friends.
Your principal joined the coalition alongside his entire political structure. He reached out to other heavyweights who agreed to deputise him.
They approached Atiku and his group for a consensus candidate. Atiku and his group ignored them and insisted on primaries because they know Atiku doesn't lose primaries.
Your principal knows he's not good in party primaries because of the heavy bribing and rigging which is against his principles.
You went behind and inserted yourself into Atiku's camp, negotiated a huge deal and positioned yourself for a mega cash out.
Because of your selfish interests, you now started pressuring your principal and his supporters not to leave the one-sided Atiku's coalition.
Your plan is simple. Let them remain there till the deadline shuts up on them and they'll end begging for the VP ticket. And you'll be positioned already.
But unknown to you, your principal is your master. Your moves, he's aware of. He plays along whilst making strategic plan B behind everyone.
Plan B matures, your principal switches alongside his base.
And that was how he became your worst enemy.
Master is master.
Apprentice is apprentice.
