Someone scans the QR code on your table. Where should they land?
A: your homepage. They find the right page themselves.
B: a page made for that spot. "You're at table 7": order, Wi-Fi, call staff.
A or B? And which one does your business use now?
Before you print 1,000 of anything with a QR code on it, 3 questions:
1. Will this link still be right in a year?
2. Can you change it without reprinting?
3. Will you know if anyone scanned it?
Any "no" is cheaper to fix now than after the printer.
Scanwork started as one HTML file. Landing page, login, dashboard: all in index.html.
Then I had 10 copies of it, and every fix meant 10 edits. I kept missing one.
Now one source file and a build script make about 40 pages, English and Estonian.
Did you start like this too?
Same flyer, printed twice. One on the gym noticeboard, one on the caf茅 counter. Each with its own QR code.
A week later you don't have to guess which spot worked. The scan counts tell you.
Where do your flyers usually end up?
How many of these 6 QR codes will scan?
Same link, same size, same logo. Only the colors change.
Guess before you read the replies.
