Another perfect tale by @CoyHallBooks. A bard finds himself in a small hamlet ruled by a very strange family. Though there is a curse on the land and he is being set up to be the next victim. The world building is excellent, just pulls you right in. The imagery is haunting.
Last night my sis & I went to Westfield Heritage Village to see a production from a theater troupe & it was amazing!
We followed a vampire tour guide through the village by candle light to witness vignettes of murders, ghosts, & other ghoulish delights. Terrific fun 🎃
Excellent day at the zoo yesterday with my sis ❤️ We got to see Maple, the baby pygmy hippo 😍
Today we'll watch horror movies and eat junk food, as is our Halloween tradition 🎃

Now to find a home for "Telemetry" - the anthology it was aiming for ended up being a poor fit ☹️

Busy weekend lined up. Today, making a belated birthday meal for my sis (her request, Ukrainian potato pancakes & apple pie). Tomorrow is moss art class with my craft buddy, followed by fancy tea. Then my friend who couldn't come for Thanksgiving is visiting - yay ❤️
Well, hubby's foot is officially broken and he's in a boot now. He was unimpressed when I said it looked a bit like something Frankenstein's Monster wore. (I didn't say this, but his response with a grunt sounded just like you know who too, lol)
My washing machine is finally fixed 🎉 Yesterday I cleaned all the windows, inside and out! If I keep this up, I will have no tasks for procrastination and will actually have to write 😱
Out for 16 kms walk/run yesterday & the haunted mirror is still there, although moved to the other side of the door.
Since it's been over a month & no one has taken it, the only logical conclusion is that it's waiting for a specific victim, right? Nice try, Mirror. Won't be me!
