This no-winger gimmick needs to end now…
We could be doing so much more damage to them. Strikers are playing too far from goal and hardly any overload on the wings. Whenever we had a chance to go 1v1, Shakhtar struggled.
Nes and Lima on and we might win this!

With little rest time, Rui Borges admits that few of the starters from the game against Académico Viseu will feature again in the starting XI for the Allianz Cup quarter-final against Marítimo.
🗣️ “The majority of the players who faced Académico probably won’t be available for this match. It’s not physically possible. There are open doors for our young players, who have made a good start to the season. They’re waiting for an opportunity. Almost certainly some of them will get that chance. I feel comfortable and confident in what they’re capable of”.
