Trey Cooley had the flu and didn't practice all week. He felt pretty good against Purdue. Had a career night.

Sometimes seeing how far you’ve come means returning to where you’ve been.
Meet David, our first ever Husky Hero. He first ran the field at 11 years old while in treatment in 2023, and his story became the beginning of a tradition built around celebrating the courage, resilience and spirit of @seattlechildren patients and their families.
Now 14, David is in ongoing remission, showcasing the same unbreakable strength 21 months off therapy. Three years after his first visit, on the eve of our Big Ten matchup against Iowa, David came home to a brand-new team in a whole new chapter of his life.
He returned to Husky Stadium from Sunnyside, Washington to double the memories, meet Demond Williams, Jr., and carry forward the tradition he inaugurated, now uplifted by Project Superstar for Race Porter’s Heart on My Sleeve (HOMS) in support of Seattle Children’s.
David started a tradition that every Husky Hero carries with them, and his legacy continues through every child who follows: every family who keeps going, every moment of courage that goes unseen, and every joy that multiplies.
Join us on Friday night at Husky Stadium for a special tribute to our Husky Heroes!
👊🏾
For the spirit that built us, for the Dawgs that carry us forward. Friday awaits. ☔️
