World Ocean Day today - this encounter, with this manta, with this group of people, shows that we can get it right I think. It's a result of decades of sympathetic interactions, and illustrates that the tide can indeed turn with the right approach. @DurrellWildlife @galapagossip

I'm aware by the way that the Jubilee Show is on ITV at the same time. But I've phoned Her Majesty who kindly noted "You crack on with it Royal. I'm recording it on catch up." So you have permission. "Commando" BBC2, 8pm - by Royal Appointment.

The episode tonight, and the book, tell Matt's story - one of the most extraordinary examples of "taking the fight to the enemy" I've ever heard. A cool head, impeccable professionalism, and remarkable offensive spirit. @RoyalMarines @RMA1664

Huge thanks for all your kind words about the series. Most important to note that it was the quality of the lads we interviewed - serving and veteran - that made it such a joy. And of course the sterling work of the team @SeadogProds. Onwards with the next eps! @jason_carl_fox
