After 15 years on the tundras of Siberia, Ohio Democrats stormed back to power last night. Conman goes out like Stan Chera. Husted in tears. The Hilltop will send a soldier to Gongress, and Secretary of State Allison Russo could end gerrymandering. rooster.info/p/ohio-republic…

If you aren’t already, give @scott_colom a follow. We honestly should all apologize for not giving his brilliant campaign the attention it deserved this year. Looking forward to seeing him in the U.S. Senate! 💪🏻

From your lips to god’s ears, Laura
America is over. There won’t be any rebuilding. Dems will control the Senate till 2032 and will win in 2028 and they will pack the Supreme Court and give statehood to DC and Puerto Rico. The Democrats will forever have a supermajority. People need to stop falling for these hokey posts about rebuilding. People need to wake up and get a reality check.

How did this shake out?
I'm just going to put my marker down. D+4 national environment. We lose NC. We pick up Michigan. We hold on to the rest of the Senate seats we are defending. We lose the House, only just. We keep 53 Senate seats.

This is a shocker developing. In the past provisionals reported after Election Night have shifted left which is good for Colom. So tight. CHS's best chance is there are votes left in a red county we don't know about right now.
Mississippi U.S. Senate >95% Reported 🔵 Scott Colom – 462,779 (49.0%) 🔴 Cindy Hyde-Smith – 462,751 (48.9%) Results per AP

There is no blue wave materializing so far as of 3 p.m. ET today. Republicans are surging in Florida, and I think the polls are about to be proven wrong yet again. Democrats predicted a massive wave, but the voting data tells a different story. We'll see how tonight unfolds.

Allison Russo is giving her victory for Ohio Secretary of State. This is lowkey a huge political development. Democrats are looking to tackle redistricting reform as soon as next year. It will make a major difference having a Democrat writing ballot language for an amendment.

Statement from Susan Collins: "It has been the honor of my life to serve the people of Maine in the United States Senate. I'm proud of all I have been able to accomplish for our state and for our country in the past 30 years." "I called Troy Jackson tonight to congratulate him and to assure him that my staff and I will work to ensure a smooth transition."
