Alcaraz with one of the SHOTS OF THE YEAR.
A point that’s sums up one of the best matches I’ve ever seen him play.

Harry Kane is the best in the world man. He’s our striker and he’s doing Cruyff turns in our own half to get us out of pressure, playing long balls like a 6. Playing in between the likes like a #10 and still finishing our chances like a 9. He is the Messi of European football. The real Ballond’Or

Cuti Romero’s last red card was 6th November 2023. He was only booked in the Premier League 3 times last season, he was MOTM in a European final and Europa League player of the season. Maybe time to switch the conversation around him to just how ridiculously good he is...

💭 I think it’s time for a Frank conversation.
🧵In this in-depth thread, we’re going to attempt to understand Frank a little better as a manager and give Spurs fans some idea of what to expect in the months, and hopefully years, to come.

Everyone has their breaking point and I think I’m there now with Ange
Want to start by saying, I really like Ange as a person and he’s the exact type of personality I want to be at the helm. He speaks so well and is so down to earth it makes it easy to connect with as a fan. I also loved his initial ideas in terms of “never stop” always play front footed.
However if we’re honest it’s been poor for a very long time. There was always context to be had but there comes a point where you can’t keep grabbing on to ideals and need stuff to be shown on the pitch.
Furthermore I don’t see those same principles on the pitch now, it’s like everything which at least excited people has now disappeared so really what else are we getting from him if not that
Previously I could hang my hat on how good our build-up was (starting to think that was just a Romero carry job), and although we could be messy OOP we often won the ball high up and could suffocate teams at times.
However all the deficiencies in the system haven’t changed and the things that were good are no longer there really.
His profiling of players constantly baffles me, he relies so much on his 6 both in and out of possession but persists with Bentancur who lacks 360 vision as well as the fact he makes the large spaces left by the system even larger
He’s deployed a front 3 in a way that don’t suit them, keeping Son wide rather than getting him closer to goal
Asking Tel to play as a back to goal striker when he clearly struggles with that
He relies so much on his wingers on the ball yet hasn’t really prioritised this in numerous windows
The negatives around him are stacking up, I haven’t even mentioned the unsustainable intensity of our play meanwhile the positives are pretty much non existent
We have an incredibly talented group that I think another manager could get a lot out of
So regrettably I think I believe it’s best for him to go but wish him all the best 🤷♂️
