When Ireland joined Nato's Partnership for Peace a quarter of a century ago the neutrality fetishists claimed it amounted to the end of neutrality. It never arose in national discourse again. Exactly the same will happen in relation to the triple lock.

This is a point I have made for years. Given both Putin’s Kremlin and Communist China, a veto on the deployment of Irish troops, is not ‘sovereignty’, it’s flat wrong. The Taoiseach is spot on here.
🇮🇪 “How dare you lecture me about Irish neutrality?” An Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD
Russia “should not have a veto on Irish participation in peacekeeping.”

Shinner street boss Mary Lou Mc Donald couldn’t even be bothered to be in the dail to hear the state apology to Brian Stack’s family,
SF/IRA are a disgusting organization, shame on all of them.
Glad to see The Stack family receive a state apology.

The irony of SF lecturing on “neutrality” & “defence”
For decades our defence forces faced the constant threat of IRA attacks, up to & including death. Security of our state under constant threat.

Michéal Martin to Sinn Féin today:
"I won't take lectures from you, a party that once supported Nazism in WW2. Sinn Féin leaders colluded with the Hitler regime, and Sean Russell was the key person, and your party leader, Mary Lou McDonald, unveiled a statue to Sean Russell".

Good article by Brenda Power in today's Irish Daily Mail about the stupidity of liberal western woman.
'Who could have foreseen that people from intolerant, misogynistic and theocratic cultures wouldn't all turn into cuddly industrious and broad-minded peaceniks once they'd landed in Europe, greeted by nice liberal ladies waving Refugees welcome banners.'

Father Hugh O’Flaherty, the Irish priest in the Vatican, masterminded the rescue of over 6,500 Jews and Allied servicemen during the German occupation of Rome in WW2.
Operating from Vatican sanctuary, he ran a secret network of safe houses, convents and farms, often slipping out in disguises to dodge the Gestapo, gaining the famous title “the Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican”.

Superb article that deserves a wide audience. "But when Stop the Game made the FAI its target, it was asking people to turn against one of the few Irish institutions that had not already capitulated. And that turned out to be a huge error."
