Still doesn't make any sense how I went from attending in 2022, rooming with @Generalkidd because of a mutual connection, to this massive moment.
First pic I got at WC 22 was of me with @LexWexy in this costume, and 3 years later it ends up on display in my Corner. Insane.
Last day to see if I'm making it into the top 10!
You've all humbled me. Thank you for allowing me to continue telling stories

Only 100 pages in and I am already floored. Parasite's Wake has so far done a great job giving me similar narrative vibes to The Flood and a sprinkling of Halo 2. Only 100 pages in so far.
Appreciating Hitchcock today.
Man set a standard for filmmaking and Psycho's double twist still floors me for its visionary execution all those years ago.
Man had presence, and I'm not just talking about the side profile
Another interview in the books! Big thanks to @timlebbon for talking with me, such a good conversation. If you Halo novel-lovers have been wanting a nice break from the fantastical and grand-scale, this horrific story is exactly what you need.

For the month of October, I wanted to give my mind a break from hyperfixation on large projects to do something fun.
Daily scooby doo podcast w/ wife. Been a blast, kinda sad its gotta end soon until next year
Hoping fan game creators will get their chance at the spotlight in the midst of all these decomps going on.
There's a good few projects that have been at it for years that could go unnoticed thanks to stuff like this. At least, if it stays relevant.
HALO REACH PROJECT RENAISSANCE IS HERE AND ITS FANTASTIC

Rarely do you see Chris post 3 times about one subject, so you know it's good stuff
Ok so excitement aside. I found Halo2.com and am now working on making sure its one of the safest websites on the net an archived to everything I can physically do.
This site has been lost media for like... neary 2 decades.
Appreciating Nightmare b4 Chrism today.
Its production story sprouting from an initial failure-ish at the box office to becoming essential Halloween viewing/listening is so inspiring.
None can go through October without singing the "la la la" part of this song at some point.
Hands up if you remember when the title of Arbiter was the Dervish.
You gotta love how ex-Catholics/Christians use Arbiter dropping his beliefs in the Covenant in Halo 2 as the foundation for why they left the church.
I've seen people tweet about this, but they have it all wrong. The Covenant is not based on Christianity or Catholicism.
The Covenant is quite literally based on Islam (nonbelievers are vermin who deserve to be wiped clean from the galaxy) and they literally have PROPHETS leading them. And their "falah" is considered a journey (The Great Journey). It couldn't be more obvious.
Halo 2 was developed during the aftermath of 9/11, and so the story was rooted in patriotic militarism and protecting what we value most.
Something to consider for anyone who thinks they have life figured out without God. You're not above the mysteries in this life that can only be revealed by the almighty Father. I will continue to pray for nonbelievers regardless.
One of the toughest parts of this vibe-code mod reality we're building is centralization is going to be extremely difficult when anyone can just make their own launcher.
Palmer's height comment isn't literally about his height.
Not really relevant to this post, just took me far too long to realize she's making a comment on his legend. A statement of reverence, not ridicule.
First clip tho is genuinely just a marine saying Chief is really tall.

With so much joy, love, and gratitude, I’m excited to share this very special project celebrating #Halo25Together 🎮💚
Hoodies for Spartan Fest México 26!

Halo fans are getting angry at 343/HS for not understanding what Halo fans wanted because of Project Reclaimer being so cool and fun.
Mods that were enabled by modern mod tools that wouldn't exist without 343/HS releasing them publicly specifically so fans could use them
👍
It's utterly exhausting to me how people keep putting each other into camps instead of rallying around common interest with different opinions.
"Bungie stans" "343 fangirls"
We're Halo fans that like and want different things, so why can't we just talk without insults?
Galactic Racer is literally everything I've ever wanted in a Star Wars racing game.
Now just gotta hope we get custom lobbies or split-screen so I can play with my local peeps.
Because Warzone wasn't arena multiplayer, which had the pure Halo design logic. Including a throwback mode. I think we're getting a bit too deep in the pool of hate if we're forgetting the reasons behind certain things.
