Alpenglow is live on Solana right now.
Finality on Solana has gone from seconds to ~0.15 seconds.
Here’s how it works in 30 seconds👇
I think @nickshirleyy about to be able to buy a country
BREAKING: President Trump reveals his new anti-fraud program set up to reward people who expose fraud with a 1% commission on the money uncovered.
"If you turn somebody in and you, let's say report and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
DOJ's published guidance caps individual whistleblower rewards at up to $30,000 per tip, not an uncapped 1% of fraud uncovered, with a total program fund of $25 million. A $1 billion fraud tip would not yield a $10 million payout under the official program rules. newsweek.com/trump-vance-of… foxnews.com/politics/trump…
I'm rather confused about Milan and France.
When the BLM riots and looting happened, the national guard could only enter if a state governor said so
Many blue states said no, and peoples shops were looted.
Now, in France and Italy they don't have the same blocks. So send in the military and protect the people.
Imagine if an enemy did decide to invade? It looks like nothing would be done
Crazy times
What we need are options on stocks of legacy companies like adobe in crypto
Adobe is going to go down tremendously
If you short these in crypto you can be scam wicked and liquidated
Adobe has been replaced by open source and in a month it will likely be better
They also have the worst predatory billing in consumer apps.
There are 100s of companies like this.
I do think hyperlwiuid is the best dex for perps right now
But papertrade on the evm is rubbish. It's 8tps most of the time during peak and a queue.
People that haven't been around forget that crypto is about experimentation
In other words, you can just do stuff
So... Just do stuff. It survives or it fails, depending on your skill as an operator and how you support your community and ofc, pmf
I thought this was a joke but nope, its a product officially blessed by @jito and by extension @SolanaFndn lol
How cringe this is
Fill me in on the drama re @cardboardxyz and @JupiterExchange YOLO vs @papertrade_xyz
The info I have is this, and could be wrong.
paper launched first, only allowed decent sized and early whales to profit and the hyperevm would do about 8txns per secound
I covered it early, and then thought it was meh. Some whales cooked, and I am happy for them, but it should have been on a better blockchain was 99% of my argument, but i get they were EVM devs.
Now Jup's YOLO has no token you get when you loss, so I only see people using this in the hopes there is a YOLO token.
There could be, but I think Jupiter really would want to avoid another token not JUP.
also, i tried yolo delta neutral, and for whatever reason it was slower than I would like. I havent read docs, only what I could see on the main UI.
cardboard has a referral, good system as it can encourage content and distribution, and is still early.
cons: no hype, no podcasts, just experimentation so way more risk.
built, i believe by @joebuild from jito, but not affiliated with jito, i believe.
another con is no auto approve to open or close.
but tell me what I am missing. and .hl peep, share your worries. Do note that 2021 was full of this, and it was fun. copy pasta is great, but there are few winners.
this goal is degen experimentation imo
This year is gonna be great
Thanks @JupiterExchange for the prediction
Bearish on @papertrade_xyz
I was excited about it, and I mentioned it in my last video and I even planned to live stream it today.
I had claude researching it, the docs, the interviews, everything.
$PAPER will fall off a cliff asap.
Some people are cooking, great. Happy you are.
@delucinator, @blknoiz06 and @CookerFlips and a few of the early whales
But my experience over the years has taught me this will be a whale's dumping playground, and will trend down
It may still be +EV to trade there, and get rebates, once they have TP/SL system.
Trade there, get $PAPER, sell it. Someone buys, stakes it, and gets fees.
And the float in the LP will be small, as most will be staked.
The biggest surprise to me is how rubbish the hyperEVM chain is.
Hyperliquid, as a perp dex is #1. It has tiny spreads, lots of liquidity, and great tokenomics.
But it is not composable, and so it cant grow, and this is where @solana really dominates.
Hyperliquid claims 200k orders per second, rn it's 16k, and I am not disputing the 200k.
hyperEVM which is different, and the HL perp dex runs differently, does about ~30 TPS for papertrade txns (if each block was filled) and papertrade is only doing 8 tps, so it doesnt "fill a block and hurt other apps/raise gas too much"
But, the blocks arent even full as hyperEVM doesnt atttract much demand and are often like 4 txns per block, and a block is ~0.98sec
So this meant you needed to put a trade of $2-5 million or more to get a txn through within a few seconds in the first few hours since launch.
If you did something small like $75k... which isn't small, it could sit at 3000 in a queue to open the position, and close it. And it doesnt have to go down, others with more size go in front of you to open and close.
So, you could be up, hit close, and wait 10 minutes for it to close, which closes at a different price and you are down.
It meant it was a whale accumulation period of 4 hours. Coming in now, you are exit liquidity.
It's funny because they dissed solana for issues with deposits, which is their responsibility, and solana would have been a better chain in every way.
The whole experiment doesnt use HL.
it doesn't go on hyperliquids perp dex, so you're not actually influencing the price. You could just have a pyth oracle price, like what Flashtrade had or what Jup has, and then you're just trading against the LP, which is exactly what this has.
Its protocol owned liquidity.
So, in other words, you could take this exactly as it is, brand it in your own way, make it so anybody could participate, add in stop loss and take profit, and ship it on Solana next week, and it would work 100x better.
Kudos for having a fair launch, marketing it, and sticking to the schedule, but other than that, I think it failed.
My plan was to enter exactly on time, but I was away from the laptop, and I could have added some larger trades and done well, like some people here as well.
My point is, I am not salty. My point is, you fumbled an opportunity. You created the hype, and then you let it down by infrastructure that just doesn't work at scale
The LP was almost $6 million, and now it's down below $2 million. (just fact, not making a point here)
And a few people have made over $200k from rewards.
But now reveune is turning down, but could do better when volatility picks up, so next week.
But let's see what happens when trading the token is turned on.
I dont have high hopes, happy to be wrong.
This ledger situation is so scary
The tldr is crypto bliss is a ledger approved authorized reseller in Malaysia
Apparently company was sold and under nda.
So likely sold to north Korea or someone super dodgy
Company started putting spy chips in the ledgers and shipping them out. These chips recorded the seed input and would transmit back to a server
Then the hacker could load the seeds and wat h for activity and decide to drain when they wanted
$86 million+ stolen
Ledger has a major problem on its hand.
In some ways, it could end ledger.
Ledger isn't 100% open sourced, and you can't verify the hardware
The next iteration may need a transparent case so all the components are clearly visible
Because Ledger has software to detect any scammy behavior but it couldn't detect the spy chip
I think they may have to pay this out and then go after the attacker to try to recoup.
What we don't know is if we are safe until we open the ledger. But, if you open the ledger you 99% break the ledger... So, then you order a new ledger with the same fear, an endless loop
The new ledgers could be affected, I don't know. Only older models shown so far, being nano and nano x.
25th word wouldn't matter as I imagine that's also watched and sent back to the server but not certain
I think an emergency tutorial on multi sigs is needed for tomorrow
Crazy day, and on 9/10
Crypto people are gonna hate October with something bad happening each year
Scary times
You know that crypto core users are so few when a big even like token2049 or breakpoint, halts major volume in on chain trading
Get on your flights and get back home and onto your computers
We have @papertrade_xyz tomorrow
@PhoenixTrade $1 Milly comp with @joinfrontier and 4 weeks until breakpoint
Market updates, alpha for traders at @joinfrontier & @papertrade_xyz. quantus:native & solana:METvsvVRapdj9cFLzq4Tr43xK4tAjQfwX76z3n6mWQL pumping, while @AbstractChain announced shutdown.
All this and more in the news today.

I have seen a few posts about quantum bitcoin, referencing this.
I think it needs a video. Any interest?
QTC is now live on near.com, powered by @near_intents.
Swap into QTC from 180+ assets across 30+ chains, including BTC, ETH, SOL, and ZEC.
Every swap is confidential by default.
Quantum secure encrypted money, now one swap away.
I legit think, everyone serious about the future of crypto should aim for 10,000 solana:METAwkXcqyXKy1AtsSgJ8JiUHwGCafnZL38n3vYmeta tokens
rn, that's $60k.
I dont have 10K META myself, not anymore. The accumulation time is now, and I think the window is short, less than 2 months, before more people start to launch with @backabledotbiz
NFA
Pros/upside: billion $ mcap potential within 3 years (7.5x)
Shipping more, and more content coming out from mista
recent upbit CEX listing
Cons
Needs more launches
Most tokens are down since ICO
Upside for a stellar company to launch with metadao needs more perks
most futards are just as retarded as the average CT person
