Man Utd will finish 8th this season. Go out of Europe in the first KO stages. Fifth round of the fa cup, QF of the carabao cup. That’s my prediction.

What a waste of time. Parker is finished.
Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker is being explored for January 30th in England, sources have told The Ring. The WBO heavyweight title fight could be staged in London or Manchester. The pair of heavyweights were originally slated to fight in February 2025 before Dubois backed out during fight week due to illness.

Given all the amazing things I post on Twitter, I did not think a post about a bottle of Coke would be the thing that sent me viral😂👏
Is there a genuine economic reason why Home Bargains can sell 500ml coke for 99p when it’s as high as £2.69 in some other high street retailers. And 69p for a 330ml can. Neither have short dates or appear to be foreign imports. Just make it make sense.

My follow up is who are we 3 trillion in debt to? Who is the earths paymaster 🙈😂
Someone more intelligent than me please explain how the UK can be 3 trillion in debt, completely on our arse but still find 10 billion to fund a war that has fuck all to do with us ?

No disrespect to anybody that does the latter, but the point stands. Why bother with university to earn good money to just be taxed taxed taxed? Something must be done. We need change.
Average starter teachers salary outside London is £34K. So you burden yourself with a huge student loan to earn £6,500 more than someone serving drinks or fast food. Hmm. Something will break soon if this continues.

Student loans were sold to students as "you'll earn more, so it's only fair you pay some of that back towards your education cost" Unless changed, of the five plans students are on - three of the repayment thresholds will now be *below* the minimum wage.
Britain’s new minimum wage: £27,456 a year. Higher-rate income tax kicks in at £50,270. Wage compression the Soviet Union could only have dreamed of.

Excl: Michael Carrick and Bruno Fernandes have met face-to-face to clear the air, with both men vowing to focus on turning #mufc season around. Meeting happened at Carrington yesterday, isn’t known whether Bruno apologised for publicly criticising Carrick’s tactics. An all-squad meeting also admitted performances have been sadly lacking, with a determination to start afresh from here. W/@DanyalHKhan

A ‘high earner’ is now someone who earns 1.8 x Minimum Wage 😂 This country is honestly a joke. We need our taxes lowered substantially.

When the bad guy starts to make sense you know it’s game over.!
Reform will raise the VAT threshold to £150,000 a year and scrap tax on overtime. Small businesses and grafters are the backbone of our economy. Labour are failing them. We will back them.

Here we go again. Above inflation rise to the minimum wage which will cause even more pressure on businesses and feed into inflation. It will make life even less affordable for the lowest paid. Cue the usual "your business isn't viable if you cant afford to pay a living wage" posts from the terminally thick that would struggle to run a bath, never mind a business or employ people. Here, for anyone that can be bothered to educate themselves even in the slightest, is why the circa 50% rise in minimum wage in the last 6 years has made life less affordable and contributed to the cost of living crisis. Minimum wage employee 2020: Total cost to employer (wages + NI + pension): £18,460 Employee can make 18,460 widgets in a year. Cost per widget (ignoring any other cost or profit): £1 Take-home pay: £15,202 Widgets the employee can afford: 15,202 2027 min wage of of £13.20: Total cost to employer (wages + NI + pension): £29,436 Widgets made in a year (same productivity): 18,460 Cost per widget: £1.59 Take-home pay: £22,050 Widgets the employee can afford: 13,868 They’ve had a 45% increase in take-home pay but can afford 9% fewer widgets. This is why you are worse off. Now factor in other business costs, higher corporation tax, higher energy costs, higher risk from new legislation, maintaining pay differential, etc. etc. etc.. Yet the thick "yOuR bUsInEsS iSnT ViAbLe iF yOu cAnT aFfoRd AnOtHeR 50p" brigade are out in force championing this. Just increase the tax free allowance and reduce spending, for f***s sake. They are just driving businesses off a cliff in the UK.

This is crazy. If you have been on the mimimum wage since April 2020 you've had a 50% payrise in just 6 years. Meanwhile a skilled worker would be no where near these levels of pay increases. There is no point in showing any ambition, get training, studying , promotions.
