Oh, you’ve somehow managed to stop the Davion Mitchell–Giannis pick and roll?? Congratulations. Except now Giannis kicks it out to Klay Thompson and he drills his 11th three directly in your face. Heat by 46. You try going small now? Bam Adebayo smells blood. He currently has 83 points and counting on 36/38 shooting. Spo hasn’t called a play for him since the 1st quarter. You finally get into the paint? Wrong. Dru Smith is already standing there. CHARGE. That’s his 17th of the game. Your entire backcourt has fouled out. Fine. Throw it up to Wemby. Nobody can block Wemby, right? PELLE LARSSON JUST SENT THAT SHIT INTO THE 14TH ROW. Spo glares at the court with a twinkle in his eye. He hasn’t blinked in 45 minutes. Pat Riley is sitting courtside in a black Armani suit smoking a cigar indoors. Nobody has the courage to tell him he can’t. Welcome to Miami Heat basketball.
