The first love song in English! Beautifully performed by the incomparable Muco. Many more such medieval bangers here: therestishistory.com xitter.gq/TheRestHistory/status/…

Quote: "This is how USAID spent your tax dollars" I think people have lost the will to try fact-check this guy due to the volume of lies he spreads. Also it's actually pretty difficult with this image and quite time consuming. It just happens I had nothing better to do. /1

Today I learned that Boudicca’s burning of London after her daughters were raped was so severe that there is a blackened scorched layer under London today which archaeologists named the 'Boudican Destruction Horizon'

It seems to me that the portrayal of the Labour win as shallow because of the vote share is misleading. This was a ‘get the tories out’ election. For different people that generally meant voting Labour, Lib Dem, Green or Reform. But in doing so they all knew they’d get a Labour government and did it deliberately. In reality even Reform voters actually voted for Keir Starmer to be PM.

VOTE!! A mere 240 people had been in my local South London station by lunchtime. Don’t let voter suppression win. Make time to VOTE!

The only environmentalism worthy of the name must have an idea of what's precious & sacred. Those who've long been fighting to save the Stonehenge World Heritage Site from Autogeddon (theguardian.com/uk-news/2017…) have always known this. The latest Just Stop Oilers clearly don't

This is fascinating from @MarinaHyde. We found that 2/3rds of the UK believe that life is too politicised. Perhaps when this election is done Starmer’s legacy will be to relegate politics to the middle pages so it “treads a little lighter on everyone’s lives”

Without doubt my favourite part of the Labour manifesto (on the arts). A complete commitment to open access for high-resolution images. A long time coming, and just fantastic.

I do like this part of the Labour manifesto. Over 80% of our national art collection (of oil paintings) is in storage at any one time. Time to get the art out!

It’s weird how Europe often bans things that are dangerous for the health of the population.
