I need Pablo Torre Finds Out to stay on the Stupid Shit Clay Travis Says beat. I would listen to an eight-part series on the time he lost his mind that an airline didn’t want to fly his kid with ACTIVE LICE.
Clay Travis claims The Cheesecake Factory was a childhood luxury. Except it didn't open in Nashville until he was 26. @Timodc and @PabloTorre investigate the curious case of his restaurant nostalgia: ā€œWe are now swift boating Clay Travis for Cheesecake Factory stolen valor.ā€

We can’t. Don’t let the Twitter world get to you. Giving up on him would be dumb and irrational. I’ve had to stop reading Twitter during games because I feel like I’m going insane. He hasn’t been good, but with how bad the team has been as a whole the negativity has became so loud that every bad throw is hyper analyzed to the point where one bad throw erases the good. He was good yesterday outside the interception (and bellinger miss that he immediately made up for). There was a reason he was #4 graded PFF QB this week. Some massive third down completions. The drive that got stuffed on the goal line was the most efficient I’ve seen from him all season. He scored on the QB sneak and the staff didn’t even think to challenge it. He had some big drops later (Tate+wandale) that could’ve kept drives alive. Not to mention the Tate fumble on a big first down later. He had a clutch game tying drive and his defense immediately let him down, just like the Philly game. We scored 24 points, gave up 500 yards to the Browns and you still have hundreds on here putting all the blame on the young quarterback. That should show you the bias that so many have online when it comes to evaluating Cam. There are some positives no one is pointing out - such as his turnover rate. (Hilarious one of the criticisms I saw yesterday is how he is turning the ball over at an ā€œalarming rateā€) He has 5 turnovers all year (a little better than middle of the pack in the NFL) 2 of those being tipped balls, while at this point last year he had 10. He had 5 fumbles lost through 7 games last year, this year he has 0. Not to mention he has the #1 WR drop rate in the NFL, which I’m sure a bunch of people will blame Cam for how he throws the football. There is so much nuance in this discussion but the easiest thing for everyone to do is blame the quarterback who is on his 5th offensive coordinator in 5 seasons. The only stat that is down 7 weeks in compared to last year is passing yards & a big reason is time of possession is down quite a bit - long sustained drives from our opponents killing the clock especially in the first half of games. Cam was a different QB 2nd half of the season last year as he got comfortable in the new offense, let’s see how he looks 2nd half of this season.

The Titans gained a whopping 5 yards on five screen attempts yesterday. 1 yard per play, nice! (one of these gained 6 yards, the others combined for -1)

Two plays that could’ve changed yesterday’s game and I'm not the INT or the goal line. Robinson: open deep, ball hits him in his hands. Dove when he could’ve kept running. Tate: 13-yard catch, first down. Fumbled. Back-to-back snaps where we could've kept the drive going and tied it up or took the lead...

I just go through the comments and see multiple people saying well, Cam should know who he is throwing too and he doesn't throw an accurate ball .. Like I'm sure Cam knows he's throwing the 70M WR they brought in to make those catches....
Thought this was Ward's best throw of the day yesterday. Reads the man motion key pre-snap, finds the crosser against c1 on-time, and throws with impressive touch + placement. If this is to any receiver with longer than 27 5/8" arms, this is a catch for an explosive

It always happens. The All-22 comes out and the overreacting (in either direction) is proven to be just that... Overreactions.

This doesn't even make sense if you understand how they track "drops". A dropped pass in the NFL is an incomplete pass where the receiver should have caught the ball with ordinary effort, and the receiver is 100 percent at fault for the miss. ...and this excludes high/low passes
Hot Take: Our WR’s aren’t that bad. Their drops are due to Cam Ward’s inability to consistently throw a catchable ball. #Titans | #TitanUp

#Titans Robert Saleh: If anyone is trying to pin the loss on him (Cam Ward) they're trying to just make shit up.

Daboll doesn’t use his players to attack the defense. Tate should be targeted more even with the fumble. I don’t know why he was hired.
