With over 30 years in the UK security & FM sector, I leverage that knowledge and experience to solve problems and achieve tangible results. If I could highlight just 5 things that have underlined my career success it would look like this: 🏆 Award-winning security professional. (Security Institute's George Van Schalkwyk Award for outstanding contribution to the UK security industry - IFSEC Global ranking of 2nd most influential global security professional for "Thought Leadership" in 2019 and finalist in both OSPAs and Security Excellence Awards.) 👥 Led teams of 300+ security professionals, across key National contracts. (One Government contract expanding from 3 to 18 sites, during my management.) ⭐ Significantly improved ACS / compliance scores for 4 UK security companies. (Not just writing appropriate policies and procedures, but ensuring that front line staff are informed, supported, respected and empowered to develop and achieve their goals.) 🚨 Delivered major operational improvements, leading to increased staff retention and massively improved contract retention. (Instigated training programs, massively improved client engagement, established professional development plans, mentored potential leaders.) 🍾 Completed complex bid submissions and given successful, contract winning, presentations. Done right, client's become aware that Security is a vital business enabler, not a drain on the bottom line, and I get a buzz from seeing that change of thinking. If you're looking for someone who brings strategic thinking, operational credibility, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for developing people, I'd love to speak to you... I'd also be extremely grateful if my network could like, comment or share this post to help it reach the right people. Comparing Sally Rooney to Salman Rushdie is absurd and obscene. Rooney pulled her own books from sale in a vain publicity stunt. Rushdie was hunted for decades by Islamist tyrants. The literary establishment really has lost the plot, says Brendan O’Neill buff.ly/nY7lwVn

Woke, broke and out of control, it’s time to scrap the license fee. As someone who started my career at the BBC, it gives me absolutely no pleasure to write these words. But let’s face the brutal truth: the British Broadcasting Corporation is a shadow of its former self and needs to be put out of its misery.   Founded in 1922 by Lord Reith with a proud mission to inform, educate and entertain, the Beeb was once the envy of the world. Today it has degenerated into a cesspit of left-wing political bias which the British public are forced to pay under the threat of criminal law.   Even when staring down the barrel of a $10 billion defamation lawsuit from the US President for its misleading edit of his Capitol Hill speech and which triggered the double resignation of its Director-General and Chief Executive of news, the BBC still refuses to admit its bias problem.   And yet the problems were laid bare again over the weekend with more revelations. First, we learned that taxpayer-funded civil servants have been seconded into BBC newsrooms, ‘fact checking’ and writing articles while masquerading as impartial journalists. Second, we discovered that schoolchildren are being brainwashed with left-wing views on net zero and immigration via the BBC Bitesize platform.    No wonder the BBC has plunged to the bottom of the Ofcom league table for impartiality, and that 2.5million viewers have turned their backs on the station since 2020, preferring instead to get their news from elsewhere.   And rather than addressing those problems BBC bosses and government ministers, concerned about the loss in licence fees, have decided to impose draconian measures to force people to pay for something they no longer want and no longer watch.   The tragic irony is that the BBC knows exactly what the problem is. Between 2024 and 2025, three separate internal reviews warned that ‘perceived political bias’ was driving viewers away. As whistleblower Michael Prescott revealed in an explosive leaked memo, "systemic editorial bias" runs deep. The main areas of concern were gender reporting, along with its reporting of Britain’s history, colonial past and in its anti-Israeli stance. Let’s be honest BBC, it isn’t perceived bias, it's real. The Gaza documentary got the BBC sanctioned and its Arabic station was forced to make 200 factual corrections about its wider Israel-Gaza war.   The BBC internal inquiry noted working-class viewers are particularly dissatisfied, finding it ‘out of touch’ and ‘alienating’.   Little wonder when you had ex-Match of the Day pundit, Gary Lineker, on £1.3 million of public money, using the profile the BBC gave him to pontificate about Brexit, Gaza, and Rwanda.   And what about the concerns over two-tier coverage of “Unite the Kingdom" protests and  pro-Palestinian marches along with trigger warnings on comedy classics such as Dad’s Army and The Royle Family.   The BBC has been infiltrated and taken over by a left-wing woke metropolitan establishment and it is slowly killing it from within.   The public realise that this culture is so ingrained it will never change. It’s time to end the BBC licence fee.

Another union taken over my woke activists & who are now misogynistic… all men’s wishes before women’s rights.
Yet another union betraying women. The British Medical Association (BMA), the doctors’ trade union, has published a lengthy statement opposing the NHS’s new single-sex guidance. It repeatedly raises concerns about trans people’s privacy, dignity and safety. But where is the recognition of women’s need for those same protections? Women get a brief mention - but only to suggest that those who don’t look feminine enough may be challenged when using single-sex spaces. Nothing about why female patients and staff need those spaces in the first place. Link to full statement below 👇

Myriam was a 7-year-old French Jewish girl. She witnessed a terrorist break into her school and kill two of her classmates. She tried to run but tripped while grabbing her schoolbag, causing her ballet slippers to fall out. She stopped to pick them up. He chased her and grabbed her by the hair, shooting her in the head at point-blank range. The man was Mohamed Merah, and a rap song honoring him and other Muslim terrorists has become the unofficial anthem of the ‘student protests’ in France.

At this point, anyone is crazy to trust the CPS and the judiciary. We should all be very afraid.
Intimidating local mother Lucy Connolly into a guilty plea is no win for CPS, it’s abuse. Weaponisation & two tier enforcement has eroded the once proud system of “British justice”. No wonder there is concern when figures like Russell Brand or Tommy Robinson are on trial.

You people including Mark Rowley simply can't read the room and alienate yourselves from the majority of the British public, especially the white working class. We don't hate women, black, brown, gay or whatever else. We do hate having all of the above constantly rammed down our throat and that being more of a priority to the police than fighting crime. We hate #DEI positive discrimination, two tier policing, two tier justice, immutable characteristics being more important as window dressing than ability, we hate wokery, we hate social engineering and neo Marxism. We want you to retake the streets you've lost, we want you to police without fear or favour, we want justice.
“This is a vile world to be a public servant in.” The Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley speaks out after a female Muslim police officer - who was recognised at the Police Federation Conference yesterday - has received online abuse.

Not even in Britain and they are violent. Coming to an HMO next door to you. No wonder people are destroying them.
“Doctor breaking his Hippocratic oath!” They did not even wait to land on English soil before violence broke out today. The men involved are now in the UK. That should concern people. You can argue about migration policy all day, but footage like this raises serious questions about screening, public safety and who is being allowed into the country. Staying silent does not make the problem disappear. How much more has to happen before people finally accept that this cannot simply be ignored? How many more incidents? How many more warnings? How much more footage? At what point does Britain finally say: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

🚨Starmer has been named a core participant in the national grooming gangs inquiry. Good. He was Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013. In 2009, on his watch, a CPS lawyer refused to charge the Rochdale gang. The lawyer said the girl "would not be viewed as a credible witness by a jury". That was reversed in 2011, and nine men were convicted in 2012. In 2013 Starmer admitted that victims had been treated "overcautiously" and changed the guidance. Lessons learned while girls were being raped. I was in the job. Fear of the label let girls down. The man at the top of prosecutions back then belongs in that witness box.
