Let me shed some light on how common stalking actually is among professionals.
I know that some of you have been stalked and harassed by your colleagues and peers - I know I have. But what I didn’t know until I did the research for the new book, was how common this actually is across our different sectors…
A thread of different professionals who are stalked and who stalk others…

A Metropolitan Police officer with a "deep-seated need to control women" has been jailed for 25 years for a series of rapes and sexual assaults.
Dion Arnold, 33, used his status as a police officer to gain the trust of vulnerable women he met on dating apps and social media, then acted out his fantasies of non-consensual sex.
Guildford Crown Court heard he raped one of his victims when she was asleep, choked a woman with a scarf until she fell unconscious, and told one victim he wanted to role-play breaking into her house to lay in wait.
One of Arnold's victims fell pregnant and had to have an abortion after being raped, and the court heard she twice attempted suicide in the aftermath.
Another woman recalled Arnold once telling her: "What are you going to do – call the police? I am the police."

National Stalking Awareness Week began today. The theme is #FatalFixation looking at the link between #homicides & #stalking. Much work to be done STILL to get stalking understood - risk, impact, safety, calling the crime stalking; link to homicide if you get it wrong.
10 cases a day - blitz courts could tackle Crown Court backlog. PAS would welcome this in #Kent where #stalking #domesticabuse #sexualabuse victims have to wait a year for trials, sentencing & so pull out rather than having to wait. #CJS @BBCNews bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgk…
