The light in wow does not root itself in christianity beyond surface level vibes. We don't even have any real fleshed out morality associated with Azeroth's religions. This is no different than people who claim half of wow's world building is offensive because they decided that everything is a real world commentary on whatever cultures the concept artists borrowed from.

I am saying that Paladins are Christian Knights. They follow a monotheistic religion. They should carry the ethics, and aesthetics of Christendom. Because that is the primary lens the class fantasy is filtered through. Being a paladin of some dark evil god doesn't make sense. Everyone instinctually knows the vibe of a paladin. It's not some follower of a dark god. It's a warrior who protects the church of Jesus Christ. The WORD Paladin was created by a Christian King, Charlemagne to describe his knights. Every other class based on a real world religion does not receive this level of scrutiny. It's obvious why. The people doing it hate western civilization, and they hate Jesus Christ. Everyone knows what a Paladin is meant to be in spirit. It's not some weird pagan oath bullshit.
