The production, consumption, and disposal of single-use plastics is causing tremendous harm to our environment and human health. The bill also cuts down on pollution and our reliance on plastics to support public health and clean up our communities. (3/4)
With a similar bill having passed in the House of Representatives, a Conference Committee is currently working to reconcile the two different versions before sending it to Governor Healey for her signature.

Thank you to the Wake-Up Coalition, the Town of Wakefield, and the Wakefield Police Department for bringing us together last week during National Recovery Month for the town’s annual Recovery and Remembrance Event. (1/5)
