The only thing of value Bezos will have gifted humanity after all is said and done, is divorcing his wife. Best use of his money possible.

Republicans sent masked secret police into our neighborhoods and let them racially profile, assault, and kill Americans without consequence.
Voters fired them. The investigations come next.
When Republicans won they did not reach across the aisle, they kidnapped hardworking people off the streets and sent them to a concentration camp surrounded by alligators where they feed them maggot infested food and laughed about it.

Trump’s FEMA got caught favoring Republican states. Now they’re hiding the data.
Americans who lost everything deserve help regardless of how they voted.
They can hide the numbers, but soon they’ll have to answer to Congress.
Trump's disaster aid denials just got harder to track politi.co/4sLy2ds

Earlier this year, I questioned CVS Health CEO Joyner about his company’s monopoly.
After months of pressure, CVS decided to dump one part of their monopoly to get ahead of Congress reining them in.
We won’t be fooled. Next year, we’re breaking them up.
FT Exclusive: CVS Health is plotting a break-up of its $117bn healthcare empire, separating its retail pharmacy chain from its insurance business in what would be one of the largest corporate splits of all time. ft.trib.al/ZlfmGt9

Desde el martes ando con una felicidad que no se me quita. 😌
¡Qué bien se siente cuando la gente demuestra que el miedo, el odio y la división no siempre tienen la última palabra! Hay victorias que se disfrutan, pero también te devuelven la esperanza.

Hakeem Jeffries stands for Israel more than Black America and plenty of us don't want him.
But thanks for weaponizing Black identity on behalf of interests OTHER than Black folk, white woman.

Profound appreciation to Governor Gavin Newsom who courageously commuted the sentences of all 548 prisoners on death row in California.
My father was murdered in California and when his assailant was sentenced to death, his brother, Senator Edward Kennedy, on behalf of our family, asked that the murderer's life be spared. He was right then, and Gavin Newsom is right today.
It may be politically expedient to support the death penalty, but it is always morally repugnant.
Let's remember the words of Robert Kennedy on April 5, 1968:
"Whenever any American's life is taken by another American unnecessarily - whether it is done in the name of the law or in the defiance of law, by one man or a gang, in cold blood or in passion, in an attack of violence or in response to violence - whenever we tear at the fabric of life which another man has painfully and clumsily woven for himself and his children, the whole nation is degraded."

No Democrat in Congress should vote to support a single dollar for this illegal, inhumane, insane war. Period.
There's a behind-the-scenes debate going on among civil socity/NGO/antiwar groups in DC over how hard to push to end Trump's war immediately. One letter currently circulating -- backed by Win Without War, MoveOn, NIAC, Indivisible, and J Street -- had included a line that set off alarm bells with groups that want to take a hard line against the war. It read:
“We, the XX undersigned civil society organizations, urge you to respond to this mandate by voting down any defense authorization or defense appropriations bills that would continue funding this disastrous war or increase Pentagon funding beyond the already outrageous $1 trillion that the White House pushed through Congress last year...If Trump continues the war into the new year, we further urge returning members to prioritize and pass legislation expressly defunding this war early in the new Congress.”
The problem there is the "if Trump continues the war." Opponents of that language argued there was no reason to give Trump November and December to wage war, and it should be forced to an end now.
Also, the government won't be funded by a defense appropriation bill, but by a CR that has to pass on or before Dec. 11.
Sen. Chris @VanHollenForMD and @RoKhanna have said the fight should be had in the CR.
After I reached out for comment, I was told that that particular line is being stripped out of the letter. Several of the signatories said they support pushing hard now to end the war, not waiting until January. NIAC spokesman Ryan Costello said NIAC interprets "defense appropriations bills" to include the CR.
"We want immediate action to end this war. Anything less is unacceptable," Costello said.
Matt Duss, executive director of CIPA, one of the signatories, emphasized his support for the more aggressive approach proposed by Van Hollen. “Congress needs to use every tool it has right now to stop this war,” he said. “We want everyone to be going all the way.”

No, I will not shut the fuck up. Both Jeffries and Schumer were completely ineffective in fighting the bullshit we've been dealing with.
Time for new leadership.
