Kids are playing some game involving a hospital. 7yo: “tell the hospital to lower their prices so we can get treated.” 5yo: “okay the hospital lowered the price to one dollar.” 7yo: “No, then nobody will work there.”

If you were an enemy of the United States, you would use the info warfare capabilities you have to create distance between America and a longtime ally full of smart, pro-American people that happens to be a technological, financial, and military powerhouse.
UPDATE: Israel’s economy is growing so fast, it will leapfrog the Netherlands and Australia within the next 18 months, in time for it's 80th birthday—not by 2030, as predicted—to rank second only to the USA in GDP per capita of all nations with populations over 10 million.

NEW: @50plus1news has uncovered even more pollster shenanigans, this time from SoCal Strategies. After we requested comment from them, they too took down their website and X account. You can read our full investigation here: blog.fiftyplusone.news/more-…

The problem seems to be that the banks can't tell if the agents have been given permission by their users to access their accounts or not. Every big AI company is in the process of launching a proactive agent with access to everything. This is going to turn into a big issue.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

Grateful to lead this letter with nearly two-dozen @UkraineCaucus colleagues calling for Ukraine to be allowed to use Starlink to hit launch sites within Russia. Ukraine must be able to defend itself, its people, and the West! The best way is to destroy Russia’s ability to launch its terrorist attacks. thehill.com/homenews/house/6…

NEW: Pope Leo XIV will need no chemotherapy or radiation, his doctors at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital said Wednesday, after final lab results showed the cancer in his right lung had not spread. His surgeon has already cleared him for his Nov. 6–17 trip to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru. The news came hours after Leo returned to work in St. Peter’s Square, where he blessed babies from the popemobile at his first general audience since surgery and closed it by leading the crowd in singing the Our Father in Latin. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…

Taking a selfie while getting briefly stopped by the IDF for committing some minor visa violation is the new kissing babies for lefties with aspirations for higher office. It’s in the book.
I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank. The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.

One difference is that Trump’s headwinds (Iran, tariffs, his own weird behavior, ballroom obsession) are entirely self inflicted. As in no other person or circumstances intervened at all.

And Bush had Katrina, the lingering opposition to Iraq, and eventually (though closer to the end) the housing crash
Trump approval starting to look like a dead ringer for Bush's second term.
