The standard has always been different for Russ. The talk about him being a self-centered star is bogus, and his teammates debunk that notion each time, yet he’s still tagged as selfish.
Russ has taken a pronounced pay cut to WIN. Something else that very few (if any) other players are willing to do. We must give him his flowers for everything he’s done for the game and everything he’s been and still willing to sacrifice to win.
