PANAMA PAPERS, PANDORA PAPERS: FIVE YEARS LATER, PROBES BEGIN
Five years after the Pandora Papers exposed alleged undeclared offshore interests linked to Nigerian public officials, the Code of Conduct Bureau says investigations involving seven individuals have commenced.
Those assigned to case officers include former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, former Senate Presidents Bukola Saraki and David Mark, former Aviation Minister Stella Oduah, and three other individuals.
The investigations follow years of questions about the status of cases arising from PREMIUM TIMESâ reporting on the Panama Papers and Pandora Papers.

BREAKING: Former Kano State Governor and NDC Vice-Presidential Candidate has alleged that the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, is doing everything possible to ensure that the NDC does not have a gubernatorial candidate in Kano State.
While addressing his supporters, he alleged that Governor Abba, having failed to remain in Kano and relocated to Abuja, is making efforts to remove Comrade Abdulsalam Gwarzo's name from INEC's records.
He further claimed that when the governor realised that the matter was beyond his control, he resorted to seeking a court order directing INEC to take action against the NDC candidate.
The former governor expressed concern over what he described as attempts to frustrate the NDC's participation in the 2027 Kano governorship election.

People are surprised that I am a leader in the NDC while openly supporting Atiku in the ADC. But let me ask: Does the NDC not believe in good leadership? Does supporting good people suddenly become wrong because they belong to another party?
I have been one of the people championing the NDC in Northern Nigeria, and I have contributed to bringing the party to the attention of people in the North. But being a member or leader of the NDC does not mean I should abandon the truth or refuse to acknowledge good leadership wherever I see it.
