Most "shadow work" online is a prettier way to stay stuck.
You name the wound. You excavate it. You post about it.
Then you run the same pattern — with better vocabulary.
Near a solar-term change, birth timezone can flip the month pillar.
Two sites, same birthday, different month. One used Beijing clock; the other ignored the cut.
Learned this the hard way building Shadow Reader. Have you ever gotten two charts that disagreed?
Most charts don't break on the birthday. They break on the hour.
Same date, different city clock — the Day Master can stay, the hour pillar flips.
Before you argue with a reading, ask which timezone the site used.

Stripped of the costume is the part most people skip.
In shadow work the underworld isn't a vibe — it's the week your old status stops working and you have to build without the props.
Most of us try to re-enter still wearing what we were supposed to leave behind.
Venus is now completely in the underworld before she is reborn and rises again as the morning star.
As Inanna moved into her descent into the underworld she is stripped completely of her power, earthly goods, and authority as she must enter with no earthly possessions.
As she moves into each gate she must release something - first her crown, her necklace, her beads, her breastplate, her armbands, her rod, and her robe.
Each gate she is judged as she is stripped away of everything completely bare with nothing but herself at her soul.
This is where we are at. Everything has been stripped away and nothing left. Once you have been ripped of everything you can see the truth and what/who truly matters.
Remember rock bottom is the solid ground to rebuild your foundation on… but it must be your own in order to be solid.
Sometimes life will strip us of everything so that we can rebuild something more real, healthy and long lasting.
Life has tested a lot over the last few years and now asks us to rebuild… to be intentional, healthy and real in what we are building… everything you recently built up to this very moment may no longer be something you want to build but rather take a new direction… the one you always wanted… but most of the all one you were always supposed to take but had fear in doing so as it would require you to stand fully on your own, be brave in your creativity and truly build something you love at your deepest soul.
As the morning star (Venus) is rebirthed into the morning sky we are reminded that Scorpio goes deep for a reason… because nothing can be built off of what is not real within you and what is real is what is in you not on you.
As you rebuild… make it something beautiful and something you can live with for forever. 🩵

The Full Moon peaked. My feed moved on. Bodies usually don't.
Day-after shadow work: notice what still feels loud — a craving, a tidy-up urge, a sudden need to be right.
The peak was the invitation. The hangover is where you meet it.
What hasn't quieted yet?
Jung would add: letting go without meeting what you're releasing is just another escape.
Shadow work is closer to staying with the piece you keep dropping — until it stops needing to yell.

BaZi splits life into 10-year Luck Pillars. Each one brings a new element into your chart, like a change of season.
Not a forecast. A better question: what is this decade asking me to build?
A rule I keep coming back to while writing Shadow Reader: every trait gets three lines. A gift, a shadow, a question.
Yang Metal, for example:
Gift: clean, fast decisions.
Shadow: cutting people off before they've finished.
Question: who did you stop listening to this week?
Monday prompt: the golden shadow.
Jung's shadow isn't only the dark stuff. We also disown good traits that weren't safe to show.
Write down a compliment you always brush off. Then ask: when did it start feeling risky to be that?

This week opens with a Full Moon in Taurus, right across from the Scorpio Sun.
Taurus asks what feels safe. Scorpio asks what's underneath.
Shadow angle: notice the comfort you reach for when something gets too close. Food, scrolling, a very tidy room.
