Glaze protects against AI agents stealing your specific style by cloaking your image, while Nightshade poisons and distorts the image so AI agents canβt recognize what it is.
And yes, if youβre a VTuber posting commissioned art and youβre against AI, you NEED to do this too to protect your likeness from being stolen. This way you can prevent malicious AI generated fanart or people stealing your designs. You have tools to fight back, use them! π

Regarding the VGen broker purge, I hope people can extend some grace to those who unknowingly commissioned these accounts.
Not everyone knew these brokers existed, much less how to recognize the warning signs.
These were people who went to a platform believing they were supporting artists and commissioning art ethically. They were trying to do the right thing and were deceived.
Some people may initially feel defensive or embarrassed when they realize they were fooled, and it can be difficult to admit that. We should respond by educating people about the warning signs rather than shaming them for being scammed. Direct your frustration toward those who exploited that trust, not the people who acted in good faith.
