Breaking via @CBSNews: US and Israel are planning what would be one of the harshest bombing campaigns to date against energy infrastructure targets in Iran, with strikes possible throughout the weekend. There was some discussion about trying to conclude by the time financial markets open Monday because of concern about how the bombings will affect the U.S. and global economy, but an end point wasn't locked in.
The president has yet to give the final go orders. The military strike plan came up during President Trump's cabinet meeting at Camp David.

Hot take: Clip Culture is helping members of Congress who might run for president more than it helps the governors.
People are constantly sharing visually interesting clips from the Hill of impromptu gaggles and riffs. There are no MeidasTouch/TMZ reporters in Harrisburg, Springfield, Annapolis, Frankfort, etc. You get the governors doing more traditional events/press conferences, which *can* grab attention but are not getting as much as "AOC responds to TMZ."
(Of course, the other force here is that every AOC clip is content for conservative media, which isn't true for Shapiro etc)
