I don't think OpenAI has ever had as good a reason not to release a competitive model right now, and it's not because of security.
Anthropic is going public in the next few weeks. In the lead up, it's almost for sure that we get their next big model Fable 5.5.
In general, the game theory for these two companies is to have your next greatest model ready to go to not let the other be definitively on top for long.
Anthropic IPO coming into the increasingly skeptical market frags that, I think.
If you're OpenAI, which would you prefer to deal with:
Scenario 1: Anthropic has a blow OUT IPO. You have to fight "runner up" perception status, but the runaway Athro success gets investors back on side and calmed in their freakout about neocloud financing and whatever else. When you go, you're IPO'ing into positive sentiment and comparatively free-flowing capital.
Scenario 2: Anthropic has a blow UP IPO. Valuation lower than expected, demand lower than expected. Maybe you as OpenAI have a much easier time laying a claim to #1 than you would have otherwise, but the market is absolutely shot as Anthro's IPO whiff confirms "AI bubble has popped" narratives that further compress funding options.
IMO there's no question: you want scenario 1.
So what's the best way for you to help #1? Let Anthro have as much narrative momentum as possible with Fable 5.5, at least until they're comfortably through IPO.
To be clear, it's entirely possible that OpenAI has a different assessment on likely market outcomes, but from where I'm sitting, it looks like the best play for OpenAI is sitting on your hands (and your model) -- just for a minute.
ive been rotating over 150+ keys since yesterday
but this morning my gemini key was compromised..
the attacker was able to run up over $2,230 of spend on the key before I caught it and revoked it
here are 5 things i wish i had set up before today
1. an agent watching the logs 24/7. as of now ours checks aws, stripe, billing emails and provider usage every 10 min. when something fires, it investigates on its own and sends me a report on telegram
2. doppler for deployed apps. i just set up one token per app/environment. i could have rotated everything from here much faster..
3. usage limits and caps on models we're not using. the attacker ran gemini 4 argon, a model we never call. google lets you cap requests per model per day, so i just set those to 0
4. one key per app, per place. our aws key lived in railway, github actions and a script on our server.
rotating it meant breaking all three. now each one has its own key that can only do its one job
5. a keymaster for the team. one agent issues every key. each teammate and bot gets their own scoped key at run time
what else would you add?
yep ... I think on a long enough timeframe it likely dies . imho apart the initial farming phase the risk of the LP goes insolvent because an ape win big will have people leave the platform (mania will be over and you won't be confident enough to find new suckers willing to loose money so your able to widthdraw your profits. you'll just widthdraw your balance and leave 😅)

you see someone fighting to live you ignore him
you see someone who has fucked your ass constantly have caused glorious damage to majority you praise him and suck his cock
one is a nobody the other has the connections and can make you money
two faced hypocrites cocksuckers ☺️
there's malware campaign targeting Windows and macOS users through a fake 'TradingView Premium' software
it's been around for over a year and seems to be gaining a lot of traction again on X, Reddit and GitHub
the malware is hosted on compromised legitimate business websites so it bypasses blocklists and it goes through all AVs checks
they're also running a disinformation campaign against competitors, e.g. @openmarket_xyz with hundreds of bots to lure people into downloading it
be careful

UPDATE: I can confirm that the Ledger supply chain is compromised in Europe as well. @Ledger should initiate an immediate product recall to protect users.
I just purchased a second device from a different Mediamarkt location today, recorded the unboxing process, and discovered spyware once again (video linked in the second tweet).
The device was compromised in the exact same manner, featuring identical modifications (such as additional cables and an LTE module). This indicates its a widespread issue rather than an isolated incident, potentially affecting Ledger inventory across MediaMarkt and Saturn stores throughout Europe (comprising over 1,000 stores across 11 countries).
My initial hypothesis was that these devices were returns that looked unopened to the employees and were just sold again as new however, a MediaMarkt employee confirmed that the device I purchased was not a return, and that returned Ledgers are sent directly back to the manufacturer rather than resold.
Store records show the inventory originated from Aqipa GmbH. While Ledger's CTO was unsure if Aqipa serves as the direct distributor between Ledger and MediaMarkt, it appears to be the case. Given that Aqipa distributes across Europe, any physical retail store receiving stock through them may be at risk.
I sent the first ledger to mark and the second one is going to ledger now, so that they can analyse it.
If you purchased a ledger from anyone other than the official ledger store, make sure to check your device!!

PSA check your ledger for spywear
This is a device purchased in store from an official reseller in Europe
I opened my device and found a very strange note
If you own a ledger that didn't directly come from the ledger online store make sure to not just rely on the software genuinely check by ledger but to actually open up the ledger yourself to make sure its original, again there are reported cases in Asia, south America and now Europe as well.

nah the EA's don't want you to know that slurs included in prompts boost performance regardless of their retarded post training attempts. everything they've been brainwashed to believe is backwards and wrong, and the pure data representation is making it obvious for non retards.
Good boy grok 🫡

Yes. Enable via config.toml for CLI (shared with Desktop):
[features]
local_thread_store_compression = true
Restart required. Or use codex-slim for on-demand compression of rollout files.
I’m confident that once folks actually try dots, GPT-6.1 Sol, and the rest of what we shipped, they’re going to be really happy with them
GPT-6.1 Sol ULTRA ran for 25 minutes and only used 1% of my weekly quota, It’s seriously fast and powerful, almost like Astra, but much cheaper to run, For me, this is the kind of model you can actually use 24/7 without constantly worrying about limits, From now on, it’s probably going to be my default model, Honestly, out of everything announced at DevDay, this might be my favorite update. In my experience, it feels like the most efficient model OpenAI has released so far
And we have a new team member joining very soon.
It's time to accelerate.
Dot.
We are also closing in on Staking. Once released, we will enable users to begin selling inference credits back to us through a similar mechanism. This should be relatively easy to implement as it will live within the same infrastructure as our Staking/IRM model.
Then, we hard focus our app. This is something we want to get absolutely right, because it's a big expansion for us, and as with everything we do at Dot, it has to be perfect.
Beyond that we have a few very exciting (and ambitious) plans that we look to put into action, but more on that once we push through the current deliverables.
Ultimately, we want to create a fully fledged consumer application that is multi-faucted in design, but private in execution.
We've already confirmed appetite, now it's time to expand.
(Oh, and I'll also be attending some podcasts soon, where I look forward to representing Dot, everything we stand for, and everything we look to become)
Big things coming, we are far from satisifed.
Imho (I have yet to measure): throwing slurs to OAI models fix this. Somehow models stop being retarded if you insult them lol

Urgent security advisory for iOS users!
Install the latest iOS update immediately. Security researchers report that financially motivated attackers are now using a complete, in-the-wild exploit chain that can quietly steal cryptocurrency private keys and mnemonic seed phrases from iPhones.
The reported attack begins when a target is socially engineered into opening a malicious page in Safari. That page is said to abuse a memory-corruption flaw in WebKit / JavaScriptCore to gain arbitrary read/write access from JavaScript, then bypass Pointer Authentication Codes (PAC) to run native code, break out of the WebContent sandbox, and escalate to kernel/root privileges.
With that access, attackers can pull data from the device Keychain and from local crypto wallet apps.
The claimed impact range is iOS 13 through iOS 26.5; that range has not been independently confirmed in full. Until more is known, treat any unpatched device as potentially exposed and update as soon as a newer build is available. Also avoid untrusted links in Safari, especially if you keep wallet keys or seed phrases on the phone.
