I think what happened last night was incredible. The thing now is what do you do with this newfound power? Things actually have to change now. Certain figures need to be challenged and removed. Action needs to happen. I hope this new era of younger politicians will do that.

Kiley McDaniel reports that the Yankees are "thinking about" a pursuit of LHP Tarik Skubal, with the idea being that they could sign him and use their surplus of pitching on the trade market. The Dodgers and Mets are the primary bidders for Skubal's services.

And yes, there *are* some concerning sources of revenue disparity in baseball. That's an owner problem, but they're not proposing the Dodgers fix the problem by sharing more of their revenue to bridge the gap, they're proposing the players fund the owner problem.

Moneyball wasn’t really about certain stats or analytics. It was about finding cheap players who were cheap because the league didn’t properly value their skills. In moneyball it was OBP/walks, plus focusing on statistical production rather than how a player is supposed to look There are infinite flavors of moneyball, and they’re constantly changing
