After reading "Chronicles of the Tomb Raider", Iโ€™ve changed my mind: Unified Lara isnโ€™t just a more developed Survivor Lara. Since Crystal Dynamics called the Survivor trilogy her origin story, I assumed the classics and LAU would simply be reworked to fit Survivor. But the book also rewrites Survivor to fit them (e.g. Amelia is no longer in the crypt, Richardโ€™s quest now also runs through Legendโ€™s stone daises, and Von Croy becomes an early mentor alongside Roth). So unified Lara is indeed all the Laras combined. Survivor gives her the origin, but every timeline shaped who she is.

Now see, this I can get behind. I wouldn't mind seeing stories from Lara's past revisited in the present day so long as the narrative is good. Tomb Raider 2 brought me to the dance so anything that takes us back to the events of 1997, I'm all for.

According to "Chronicles of the Tomb Raider", in the chapter featuring Tomb Raider II, Fiamma Nera is led in the present day by Bartoliโ€™s daughter, Gianna Bartoli. She also appears in the comic series Sacred Artifacts, which takes place after the events of Tomb Raider: Underworld

idk about yโ€™all but Iโ€™m still not over how good this Sophie Turner Tomb Raider fit looks. The colour coordination, the fitting, hairstyle, makeup & fully black USP Match pistols from TR Legend slap. Pure inspiration from Legend & Underworld. Amazing!!!

This is something I really enjoyed in the TSA comics (ie. the last ones), that Lara actually talks like a British woman. They've Americanized her too much as the franchise went on, even with the accent you can tell it's not a Brit writing the dialogue.

I love how the community is so fascinated with this. There is something both chilling and heartbreaking about it. I genuinely want to stop imagining what this must have been like for her, and I want to stop entertaining the possibility that it all ended this way. But I can't.

It's very much written from a casual fan's perspective, and you know I love AoD and Cradle of Life and even TR Chronicles but like... I get it. Especially the AoD part, when it came out that was pretty much the opinion most people had, took a while for it to get its flowers ๐Ÿซ
