The real AI coding benchmark is simple: can it finish a real project without you babysitting it?

Gemini seriously took this advice:- “We need to slow down AI development”

Remember when paying for an AI subscription felt like getting access to something unlimited? Now I'm checking usage limits, comparing plans, and thinking twice before asking a model to do a big task. The tools are getting better, but the experience isn't always getting easier.

The AI hype cycle moves faster than the actual progress. 💀 Gemini 4 Argon barely had its moment before Claude Duet dropped. 😭 My take: A viral launch means nothing if the model isn’t useful when the hype dies.

Unpopular opinion: I’d rather have an average model with generous limits than a genius model I can barely use.

A few months ago, I couldn’t imagine coding without Cursor. Now I see more and more developers moving to Claude Code, Codex, and other tools. The AI coding space is moving so fast that picking a tool almost feels like picking a side in a war 😭 What are you using daily right now?

We keep trying to make AI smarter by building bigger models. but what if the real breakthrough comes from getting different models to work together? human intelligence isn't just about what one person knows. it's what we can achieve when different minds communicate and build on each other's strengths. maybe the future of AI is collective intelligence, not just one giant model.

Today distributed cognition exits out of stealth with backing by Verdict Capital. Our mission is to replicate humanity's collective intelligence. Read more: dcog.com/research/our-impera… Most of today's AI power is held in the hands of a few, who can choose what you're allowed to think and what you're permitted to do. We stand on three substantially different foundational beliefs: - You shouldn't ask permission for intelligence. - Superintelligence will be a distributed collective. - Humans are not meant to be relegated to a permanent underclass. If we don't distribute intelligence, nobody will.

– Start early – You're too young to worry – Take your time – You're falling behind – Focus on one skill – Learn multiple skills – Be consistent – Avoid burnout Being in your 20s is confusing as hell.

The AI industry drops a “game-changing” model every other week 💀 But are these new models actually worth switching to, or are we just upgrading for the sake of upgrading? 👀
