In the middle of the image, several black-and-white photographs of white women posing together, wearing shirtwaists and elaborate updos, have been collaged together, along with images of a few men (also white and 19th-century). These images are layered atop a scenic landscape of mountains in muted blue and green tones, like an early 20th-century postcard. A flock of geese fly overhead as well. The collage is punctuated by geometric forms-- a yellow circle like a big sun behind the women, overlaying the mountains and geese.
