Join SS Shieldhall on Saturday 13th September for a rare and stunning sight as these two iconic steamships, Shieldhall and Waverley, meet in the Solent. Watch as these two Scottish-built icons sail together, exchanging salutes with plenty of whistle tooting!
Shieldhall will steam from Southampton Water, passing the Solent Forts, before rendezvousing with Waverley and cruising west toward Cowes. Along the way, soak in spectacular views of Waverley and enjoy a unique experience onboard.

It was great to have Steamship Shieldhall crew and volunteers join us today on Waverley after Shieldhall’s summer sailing season ended yesterday (Sunday 15th September).
Waverley and Shieldhall have strong historic links and we enjoy maintaining a great relationship with those who work so hard to keep Shieldhall steaming.
