artists who complain about AI are invariably put in the "doesn't understand the technology" bucket, rather than having their concerns spoken to
this has to do with how programmers view artists generally: individuals who do interesting but ultimately unimportant work that doesn't move the bar, they are good for when you need something shiny
these people also happen to be the ones with all the capital, because until recently programming was the de facto tool for the digital landscape

On September 27, 2023, Roblox will be updating their Community Standards to introduce a new “Experiences using Marketplace Items” policy. This policy outlines what Creators must do if their experience has unaffiliated Avatar Marketplace items* available for users to equip when the user has not yet purchased the item.
*an unaffiliated avatar Marketplace item is one that the Experience creator did not create themselves or have a direct agreement with the item’s Creator to distribute or incorporate in the Experience.
