Honoured to begin this new chapter at @CRI_ACTREC @ACTREC_TMC alongside such an incredible group of faculty members 😊
Hearty welcome to @ShivDoesScience
Our new faculty addition!!!
Shivani is a chemical biologist whose lab focuses on developing antibody-engineering platforms combined with peptide chemistry to probe cell surface protein function in cancer.

Proud moment for @ACTREC_TMC!
Congratulations to our Director @pankajch37, on being named a 2026 Highly Ranked Scholar – Lifetime in Oral Cancer by @ScholarGPS, placing him among the top 0.05% worldwide. 👏
Celebrated Pragya's birthday today! 🎂
She keeps our pipelines running, from single-cell seq through to target validation, and still finds time to humour me when I show up asking if we can just try RFdiffusion for protein binder discovery 🎯🤖

Every day at Tata Memorial Hospital @TataMemorial, we see patients facing their cancer with incredible courage. But for many families, the struggle goes beyond the disease — the cost of treatment and just getting by can be overwhelming.
This Tata Mumbai Marathon @TataMumMarathon, I’m asking you to join me in doing something about it.
You don’t have to run a marathon to make a difference. A donation, however small, can help a patient who really needs it.
Let’s come together to make sure that no one has to give up because they can’t afford treatment for their cancer.
Please contribute, share this post, and help us reach more people. Every bit counts. ❤️

Throwback to our IGIB @IGIBSocial visit! Two packed days of science between #ACTREC and #IGIB, covering CAR-T therapy, antibody engineering, single-cell RNA seq, computational protein binder design, disease models, and much more! 🥳👩🔬
Very much looking forward to the meeting! We had a lovely visit to IGIB in May—now it’s our turn to host you!!! 🥰@arpan_parichha @shruthy_suresh @Ankesh1406

@CRI_ACTREC is excited to host colleagues from @IGIBSocial for the @ACTREC_TMC - IGIB Conclave happening on 19th November in @ACTREC_TMC !! Looking forward to foster new collaborations and fruitful interactions!!
@biopatrika
Little late to post this, but @CRI_ACTREC basic and clinical science talks were excellent!!!
Seeing how things work in the hospital, from diagnosis through treatment, and where the tools we build could apply, is a very different exercise from thinking about it from the bench🧑🔬🩺

@ACTREC_TMC @EMBO will be hosting 4 EMBO Global lectures in the areas of stem cells, hematopoiesis and cancer from global stalwarts on 23rd Nov! We are extremely excited and looking forward!
After weeks of troubleshooting the FPLC, the column is finally back in 🥳
Nothing like getting back to protein purification to lift the week 💉🦙
Smiles in the lab at last, though it feels too soon to celebrate🤞@CRI_ACTREC

Check out our latest study, now published in @CellChemBiol
We investigated how two closely positioned mutations in helix 8 of the PTH receptor cause brachydactyly type E through distinct molecular mechanisms.
Many thanks to all our collaborators!

First peptides synthesised in the Sachdev lab @CRI_ACTREC, by Zeel, our first PhD student👩🔬✨ Took a bit of doing to get here, and there’s plenty more to come, but today it counts as a win 🧪🥳

Research drives innovation at Tata Memorial Centre.
In July, our faculty and researchers published 47 peer reviewed articles, advancing cancer research, scientific discovery, and evidence based patient care.
Every publication brings us closer to the future of cancer care.
