October goals :
- Learn about debuggers and build one from scratch
- dive deep into C++, finish two good books on it
- ship charmNumerics / LibCharmTyles (right now looking into a hardware agnostic codegen for the backend)
Forget what you thought you knew, rediscover yourself, learn the thing you are passionate about from first principles and thus begin the great lock in period of September - December.

This paper is highly recommended for programmers. Even the god of programming can make mistakes. It also helps deepen your understanding of Linux scheduling and how to solve complex performance issues. Thanks to @Not_Yours_Mom for the recommendation. people.ece.ubc.ca/sasha/pape…
Just landed a PR that adds support for the machine learning primitve allGather in the charm++ parallel programming system 😁

We're happy to share that @tkstanczak is officially taking a position at the @ethereum Foundation as Co-Executive Director, while remaining Nethermind's founder and continuing to guide our work.
Since Ethereum's early days, Tomasz has helped shape the ecosystem through engineering and leadership, from building the Nethermind execution client that now processes a significant portion of Ethereum blocks, to improving transaction fairness through MEV research with @flashbots, and advancing scaling solutions via @StarknetFndn.
His commitment to growing the next generation of builders is equally noteworthy, having established one of Ethereum's most successful internship programs that's onboarded over 600 participants.
This transition reflects Ethereum’s organic growth, where dedicated builders take on new roles to support the ecosystem’s next phase, while continuing their existing contributions and roles.
Congratulations, Tomasz!
And that's a wrap for scarlet! Just added a custom register allocator which will be my last commit for a while now. Scarlet now runs around 1100 tests and gives compile-time and run-time similar to gcc! Do consider starring the repo, it would mean a lot.

Scarlet goes brrr🏎️💨rrrrr!
Took the last couple days to add some IR optimizations in scarlet. Will work on a register allocator tomorrow.

Strings? Characters? Yup — Scarlet now supports 'em! 🎉
We’ve started cooking up a retro-style game you can compile with Scarlet. Coming soon 👾🔥

And Here we go! Scarlet can now accurately figure out extremely weird pointer arithmetic and dabble with arrays. 🥳🥳

Finally! Scarlet now supports pointers 🎉
This particular milestone forced me to rethink how scarlet supports expressions from the ground up and simplify them a lot. Also laid the base for pointer arithemtic and arrays. Both will be supported soon...

scarlet now supports IEEE754 compliant double precision 🎉

I opened netflix to unwind and as I clicked the search bar to type in some famous movie, I wrote The Office. I rewatched it for the 5th time, fell in love with Jim and Pam and Michael and Dwight over again, I laughed once again and decided to believe in love once again
