This. It was blocking my view today and offering no benefit. Example of bad UI from our friends at MS.

I had an engineering professor who, during office hours, would write and draw diagrams without reorienting my paper (essentially upside down and backwards from his perspective). I still think that is one of the coolest (and sort of pointless) skills I have ever seen.

I don’t call myself a dev, but then again my job title is something I made up. 😁 All I know is the business solutions (and value) are real, so I say call it what you want.

Honestly, Modern Controls give me pause. Currently, I can create an app that fits the branding for company I work for. It’s not easy but the result is great. With MCs, the look will be easy but will it fit our branding? De-emphasizing classic controls at all = a bad move imho.

I’m not sure what it’s about but that “tub ‘o grumpy cat” is a mood man. 😂 If it was Power Apps I’d go with containers but Automate…maybe moving flows between environments? Looking forward to all the reading I have coming up! 👍🏻

My title came from being both all things IT and front desk (smaller biz with no physical place to put me). I realized that my role is all about getting the right data in the right way to the right people at the right time. Now I’m ~90% remote so not much front desk time. 😁
