Apart from the game state giving it hole cards, opponent stacks, hand history etc. It also uses Monte Carlo Simulations which estimate it's winning chances against different opponent hands (This is fed to Subq model).
I built a poker bot using @subquadratic's system one model as the decision maker, and it beat out 24 other bots in poker bot league this weekend on chipzen.ai. You can check out it's replays on how it played, chipzen.ai/season/11

Bullseye tricolore pizza (pesto, marinara and cheese) 🤤. Still need to work on the lepord spotting, not sure how i can do better in a home oven without a peel and pizza steel. Atleast it wasn't floopy!

Slam poetry I wrote, because the itching isn't stopping. Has a deeper meaning to it. PS. I was clawing away at the mosquito bites while writing this.

Got perfect crust today (No flop, sadly no lepord spotting on bottom, since don't have pizza steel) 😋, also no cheese is suprisingly very good.

Re-reading this book for a couple of days (taking it slower this time, last time I read 15 pages without reflecting on what it's trying to teach), got me writing more about abstract ideas, understanding the important of my own thoughts and ideas through writing, etc. I have been using a zettlekasten for a bit now, but I didn't really use it to it's essence, where-in it has mostly been sitting there as my own personal venting space, or small ideas, or all my work for the fantasy book series I plan to write (Yes I am doing that, I will probably post more about it in the future). But I haven't been using it to it's fullest, of connecting ideas, yes I do backlink notes, but just very obvious connections. It's not that I can't make more abstract connections or thoughts, it's just that I didn't think to write it down. Reading this book (How to take smart notes), has made me realise writing is my way of thinking. It has introduced me to this new system which can easily be a part of zettlekasten(obsidian vault), called the slip-box. The whole book is about this, but it's not just a how to set it up, which is why I am really enjoying reading it, it's also about how to use the tools given to you by the slip-box. Funniest thing is, I am not even halfway done yet, but I have already started implementing parts of the slip-box. Because the author, book and Niklas Luhmen all try to convey that this system, thinking, researching and writing in general isn't meant to be something over the top and complex. And ever since started my own zettlekasten I have been doing exactly the opposite, I have made it more complex, and what's worse is that I have not only convinced myself it's supposed to be complex, but also what I tell other people. It's not supposed to create friction, it's supposed to reduce friction. So you can focus on the writing itself, the thinking, the creation of new ideas. Because the core of the zettlekasten is your writings, nothing else. So this gets me into something I want to experiment next, of course I am going to improve my own zettlekasten, but I want to see, if the slip-box method can be integrated with LLM. Why? I feel this might benefit LLM's for long term research, of course they can't really think like a human, but what if we can replicate the slip-box with keeping in mind it's for a machine. I want to see, if it is able to make meaningful connections, is able compile a knowledge base of ideas, thoughts, interconnect them, even present them. I am not really sure if anyone has made, something similar, while there are many graph based memory projects, even saw one specifically for zettlekastens. I feel they don't do justice to the way the book describes and teaches you how to use a slip-box, because this experiment isn't just aiming to improve memory retrieval, but it's also to improve how an LLM might use these tools when given proper knowledge on how to use them to create and curate better knowledge. If anybody does know someone working on something similar, I would love to talk about it in DMs! So anyways this was just my initial thoughts after reading the first section of the book. I'll be posting more now, as I progress further into the book. Also any progress on the above project.

I just read old whatsapp messages I had with my dad... Man do I hate how much of a brat I was in class 12. The guy sacrifices so much for me and all I did was be a disrespectful and ungrateful son.

Built a Pokémon Red-inspired portfolio website built entirely in React + Canvas. Instead of a traditional portfolio, visitors explore a pixel-art town, interact with NPCs, read signs, and discover projects, skills, and experience all through the lens of a classic Game Boy RPG.

I feel I am really behind in stuff I should have learnt before, going to have to learn a lot of maths, which I should have before to build my next project, might take me a while ngl. But I will do it ;).

the real monetary edge on this app is access to people who would never give you their attention otherwise. you have absurdly granular control over how you're perceived and what you're known for. the quality of attention you garner matters more than the quantity. people have shitty attention spans and most don't look past the surface level stuff, using this app like reels so yeah they go through flashy memes and quotes, skipping the rest. that is not the kind of crowd you need anyways. create and curate your own little circles of people who are upto something meaningful and have fun. constant mass appeal just means you stopped saying anything sharp enough to matter.
