RAMAYANA IS SPARKING A BIG DEBATE ONLINE!
A scene featuring Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita fighting demons alongside Lord Rama has divided viewers.
Some viewers are questioning the portrayal, saying:
• According to the Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Rama fought the demons during their forest exile.
• Sita was not depicted fighting alongside him in that episode.
• Filmmakers should be careful when adapting stories from sacred scriptures.
But there’s another side to the discussion:
• The Adbhuta Ramayana portrays Sita in a powerful warrior form.
• Different versions of the Ramayana have different interpretations.
• Cinema often brings creative adaptations to the screen.
So here’s the real question:
SHOULD RAMAYANA FOLLOW ONE SCRIPTURAL VERSION STRICTLY, OR DO FILMMAKERS HAVE THE CREATIVE FREEDOM TO EXPLORE OTHER INTERPRETATIONS?
What’s your take? Let’s discuss respectfully.

WHY IS PICKLEBALL CALLED PICKLEBALL?
Welcome to EPISODE 3 of WHY LIKE THIS?!
No, it’s not named after the vegetable or the Upin Kai!
There are two popular explanations:
THE PICKLES THEORY
One story says the sport was named after Joel Pritchard’s dog, Pickles. But there’s a catch: the dog reportedly came into the picture after the sport was invented!
THE PICKLEBOAT THEORY
The more likely explanation comes from rowing. A pickleboat is made up of leftover rowers from different teams.
And just like that boat, pickleball brings together elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.
So the name may have come from a combination of different things, not a vegetable!
Funny name. Interesting history.
Did you know this, or were you also blaming the pickle?

WHY CAN YOU IMAGINE THE FEEL OF LICKING A WALL WITHOUT EVER TRYING IT? 😭
Welcome to EPISODE 2 of WHY LIKE THIS?
Think about it. You’ve probably never licked a brick wall (hopefully!), but you already know how it would feel on your tongue.
How is that even possible?
The answer is CROSS-MODAL PERCEPTION.
Here’s the interesting part:
• Your brain connects information from different senses.
• It already knows how a brick wall feels when you touch it with your hand.
• It combines that knowledge with what it knows about your tongue.
• And somehow, you can imagine the sensation without actually trying it!
So technically, it’s not your tongue predicting anything. It’s your brain connecting the dots.
Our brain is doing some crazy things without us even realising it!
And please, don’t start licking random surfaces to test this. 😂

WHY DOES WHATSAPP SHOW “THIS MESSAGE WAS DELETED” INSTEAD OF REMOVING IT COMPLETELY? 🤔
Welcome to EPISODE 1 of WHY LIKE THIS?
Ever wondered why WhatsApp doesn’t completely erase a message when someone deletes it?
There are two interesting reasons:
To maintain the conversation context.
Imagine someone sends you five messages and randomly deletes one. If WhatsApp removes it completely, the conversation might not make sense anymore.
The “This message was deleted” placeholder at least tells you that something was there.
The technical side is more interesting.
WhatsApp has to manage message states across multiple devices and chats. Imagine sending a message to seven people. Some are online, some are offline, and others have already replied or reacted.
Completely removing that message everywhere while keeping conversations consistent can get complicated.
So, instead of simply erasing it, WhatsApp replaces it with a placeholder - almost like a digital tombstone.
Funny how something so annoying actually has a reason behind it, right? 😂
