The U.S. added 165,000 jobs in October, beating forecasts. Unemployment fell to 4.1%. I’m not going to root for bad jobs numbers just to get a friendlier Fed. More people getting paid belongs in the bull case too.

David Friedberg says this isn’t Suicidal Empathy, these are Armchair Do-Gooders. He is referring to the French woman, who yelled “Do you know who I am? I am an activist who advocated for you all” as rioters destroyed her store. FRIEDBERG: “The look on her face, which was like, ‘What the hell happened,’ is meant to be this moment that sort of captures the zeitgeist of what some people call Suicidal Empathy, but I think it’s much more about being an Armchair Do-Gooder. An armchair do-gooder is someone who kind of sits at home in a nice home in the suburbs or wherever they live, and they say, ‘Let all the people in, take care of all the people.’ But as soon as the people show up to their front step and says, ‘Can I come and stay in your house?’ the answer is no, of course not.” “Someone else has to deal with it. Someone else has to house you. Someone else has to feed you. Someone else has to give you a job.” We’ve all seen this play out in the man-on-the-street interviews where people say they support policies that let immigrants in, but when it’s time to house them, suddenly they have no room. JASON CALACANIS: “We called this Limousine Liberals.” There have been many names for this. Rob Henderson calls them luxury beliefs… Open borders is one of his own examples. Everyone always seems surprised to find out their actions have consequences.

This right here is what paid propaganda looks like Democrat influencers are make videos using the exact same script, word for word, targeting Elon Musk saying he’s buying the midterms elections Again, WORD FOR WORD. All Democrats have is paid propaganda. They rely on people believing their paid propagandists reading scripts for money

Ro the Robber
Ro is the number one stock trader in Congress. Last year, he reported 4,300 trades with 59 million in total trade volume. He also recently purchased a $9.5 million home in the DC area.

Since Ro has thrown himself in to the argument about how people earned their money and how they should spend it, here is some importance context. @RoKhanna is about as crooked of a politician as they come.
Ro is worth $200m and has $600m in trade volume so far during his time as a congressman He is a liar, hypocrite, insider trader, and fraudster If he wants to fund these causes, he should be the first to give from his private fortune

Hi Ro, the real scandal is YOU, not the billionaires. They create jobs, technology and pay taxes. You take and take. Always asking for more money but have ZERO accountability. And you're selling one MORE magical tax that will suddenly solve all of our problems. Scapegoat: builders (framed as billionaires) Bailout: rampant government negligence and fraud Over the last 25 years we have done the following; 2000: revenue $2T. Spend $1.8T. A $236B SURPLUS. Today: revenue $5.2T. Spend $7T. A $1.8T DEFICIT. Revenue up 2.6x. Spending up almost 4x. And the money you don't have, you print, so the inflation lands on everyone who isn't you. So where does the money go??? Everything has gotten worse. Healthcare: the most expensive it has ever been. Test scores: historic lows. Infrastructure is degrading and some of the worst in the world. Housing affordability is absolutely wrecked. Debt in 2000: $5.7T. Today: $39T. We now burn over $1T a year just on the interest. More than the entire military. Record revenue. Record debt. And a normal family is further from a home than their parents were, on a quarter of the budget. So the simple question. After all of that, why should anyone hand you EVEN MORE to torch? You want to gaslight us into thinking one more tax saves it. It does not. You do not fix this with a bigger check. Show me zero based budgeting. Show me a single outcome worth $7T a year. Where does $7T go, Ro. Riddle me that.
Katie thinks the scandal is that I want billionaires to pay a little more in taxes. The real scandal is that a handful of billionaires now hold vastly more wealth than millions of working Americans. I believe those who have succeeded through work and entrepreneurship, including my family, should support our nation that made that success possible. That’s the difference in our philosophy.

Ro Khanna has yet another idea on what could be paid for by taxing Elon: “For 5% tax one time on Elon Musk, you could have universal child care in America. $10 a day for every family." Ro never stops daydreaming about different ways to spend Elon's money.

The Coinbase commercial. I was thinking as it played, “this looks like a commercial from the .com Super Bowl.” We’re so screwed.

Nicki Minaj said something at Amfest that was really profound. I'm paraphrasing, but she said, "just because I want little black girls to think they're beautiful doesn't mean I need to put down little girls with blonde hair and blue eyes." We all got wrapped up over the last few years in zero sum thinking. This was because the people who think they rule the world pit us against one another. @NICKIMINAJ rejects that. We all should.

Billie Eilish (net worth ~$50M) just called Elon Musk a 'f***ing pathetic pussy b**** coward' because he's rich and doesn't 'give it all away'. Meanwhile Elon: Built Tesla → accelerating the end of fossil fuels & saving the planet from climate disaster SpaceX → making humanity multi-planetary (literally our species' backup plan) Starlink → bringing internet to remote/disaster zones & Ukraine war zones Created 100,000+ high-paying jobs + millions more in supply chains Literally moving humanity toward sustainable energy & space colonization Billie sings songs. Elon is building the future of mankind. Who’s actually doing more for humanity again?
