Rant from 20,000 feet. @Qantas your entertainment app is shit. Never works and when it does it drops out every time someone comes on over the PA and then have to restart again and listen to all your adds and then drops out again. Some flights system doesn’t even work.

How hard is it for a business that requires bookings to get a service to let customers know they are running 45 mins late. Needless to say could not wait and taken my long term business elsewhere. Benefits of competition. @Specsavers fail

Does four hours on the tarmac at Sydney airport on a broken @JetstarAirways plane equate to cruel and unusual punishment?

I know @VirginAustralia is doing it tough but they need to sort out their product BEFORE they sell it: "complimentary food will no longer be provided in our economy class cabin. We understand you have purchased a fare inclusive of a complimentary snack."

Fed Gov doesn't control state borders and rules but does control GST carve up and State grants. Feds don't want to be seen to punish voters in those states but if they keep their economies closed they should not be rewarded and propped up by NSW.

ABS stats show Australia recorded 1,255 influenza deaths in 2017. COVID deaths to date 737. NSW approach of keep economy open & contact trace & jump on clusters right approach along with locking down aged care facilities.
If COVID infected people are transmitting through pubs and clubs (large gatherings) in NSW, surely it is easy to shut them down despite predictable protects from pokies and clubs lobby groups?
