Well done to Lucia, Michael, James and Mia for setting wonderful examples of our school super values. Also well done to each and every one of you, as I have seen all of my class demonstrate these values at different points throughout this year.

#PrimeMinister @jacindaardern resigned today. I am not surprised nor do I blame her. Her treatment, the pile on, in the last few months has been disgraceful and embarrassing. All the bullies, the misogynists, the aggrieved. She deserved so much better. A great leader. Thanks PM!

My first job upon arrival in the UK was a janitor. I’d say good morning & not receive a response. Today I’m an NHS psychiatrist & I said good morning to my colleague cleaning floors. The smile on his face was priceless. We each play an important role & must be respectful. – at Lewisham, London

Strange how some ‘adults’ appear to feel threatened by this powerful, thoughtful, considered ‘user review’ of education. Dismissal of these insights are not just disrespectful but implies a lack of willingness to listen and learn…

This afternoon we painted ‘en plain air,’ just like Impressionist artists did, to create our final #art pieces inspired by #Impressionism. Look how fantastic they turned out! #year5 #WeAreArtists

We started our new #History topic today, looking specifically at the Mayan Civilisation. We looked at how this fits in with other areas of history we’ve learnt about and created a timeline of what the ancient Maya did, so we can discover more in our next lesson #year5
