The Bomas International Convention Centre (BICC) project raises serious questions about how public money is being managed.
The estimated cost has risen from KSh31.7 billion to KSh45.1 billion — a 42.3% increase.
Who approved the additional KSh13.4 billion? What changed in the project scope? Where are the procurement documents, contract variations and detailed expenditure records?
A project of this magnitude cannot operate in an accountability vacuum.
Kenyan taxpayers deserve transparency, value for money and clear answers. Parliamentary oversight must go beyond asking questions; the public deserves documented answers.

मस्क का बेटा नहीं होता तो किसी गन्दी नाली में पड़ा रहता। आज यदि यह मॉडलिंग भी कर रहा है तो मस्क का नाम बेचकर और लोग काम भी दे रहे हैं, वो इसकी योग्यता देखकर नहीं, अपितु मस्क को नीचा दिखाने के लिए ऐसा कर रहे हैं।

Effective November 2, 2026, the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has implemented two key index structural adjustments. Family Bank Limited joins the NSE Banking Sector Index as its 12th constituent, while the NSE Bond Index (FTSE-NSE Kenya Sovereign Bond Index) transitions to a Total Return methodology, capturing both price changes and accrued coupon interest to better mirror real-world institutional debt portfolio returns.
