Skill Issue Magic

Skill Issue deck guides 📖 October 2026 Update: Only 21 free guides this month, but there were many cool articles/paid guides as well recorded in the spreadsheet. Still seeing lots of free lengthy google docs for us all to digest as well, which is great! #mtgguides @fireshoes

If modern doesn't have enough people to fire, you should try adding one of these in your sideboard

I opened two sets of these Yargles at my prerelease, and put them all into my deck along with a single Medic's Kitesail for the 10 power flying combo dream, but it never happened once 😭

Look at what we could have had instead

Skill Issue deck guides 📖 September 2026 Update: Free guides dwindling compared to the past 😭 but many thanks to those still contributing! How else will I know how to play this game 😵‍💫 #mtgguides @fireshoes

🤡🤡🤡 @wizards_magic ok I've finally got them, reprint the mox opals for everyone else now please 🤡🤡🤡 #buyhighneversell

Just had my copy of Next Level Magic Forever arrive from the US from @toamagic since I missed the kickstarter. Thanks @thepchapin for making this, and thanks to all who contributed as well. Having a physical magic book is very cool, maybe I'll finally be good at this game now 🤓

I've assembled one of four Mox Opals in a display of irresponsible consumerism. Wizards is waiting for me to get four copies before reprinting them, giving them out as promos, and including them in precons - I'm doing this for all of you out there!!! 💎 💎 💎 #buyhighneversell

Skill Issue deck guides 📖 August 2026 Update: Not many free guides this month, but there were a ton of paid guides! Apologies for not updating much - I failed my countrypeople at the Brisbane RC 😭 although I'm sure none of you needed guides anyway haha #mtgguides @fireshoes

Fun fact: Wood elves is a great choice for a promo because by scryfall's tcgplayer pricing, it is $0.19 - which is actually TRIPLE the price of the lowest card: pinecone strike at $0.06. If I attend 1000 standard showdowns, I might be able to sell them for a single standard deck!
