40,000 subscribers. Thank you.
Since 2005, theskykid.com has championed the small films — and the young performers who carry them — usually before anyone else noticed.
If a film ever raised you, you're home.

Saturday night, and I'm vibing to this. ELFIGO — fifteen years old, a full mainstage set in front of 10,000 people in Calais. I wrote this week that the answer is in their hands. Watch his.

Daniel Yastremski was fourteen when he sang "Time" for Belarus on home ground, at Junior Eurovision 2018 in Minsk. This acoustic version — with Kirill Good, the song's composer — strips it back to the voice it started with.

I've written about the eight boys behind the decks — the youngest generation of electronic music. ELFIGO played Tomorrowland at twelve years old. But it's Pulsar I keep going back to: , hard trance, all attitude and energy. The real thing.

I keep a small newsletter for the people who've followed theskykid.com all these years — new films, young singers and actors at their first break, and where Le Gamin goes next. It's free, and it's where my readers hear things first:

He went under in the crossfire. One hand never let go of him.

Chapter Three is the one I have been waiting to give you.
Le Gamin — The Price of Defiance is live. Bastien pays for the choice he made in the oak, and Étienne refuses to let him pay it alone.
Chapter Four tomorrow.

I did not find Alec Burette first.
The 12-year-old French pianist-composer finished 3rd at Junior Eurovision — but the professional juries placed him 1st. The public vote missed the quiet musicianship.
My late, sincere amplification:

Second place. The juries had him first. Lucas Paulano closed Junior Eurovision 2026 last and finished 2nd for Spain — 184 points, 108 from the juries. Armenia's Naré won with 202. He was ten, singing last, carrying the room. Cuore Bello stays with you.
Watch his final performance — at the piano, star-lit, fearless: youtube.com/watch?v=bOD4V-m1… 3rd place, 1st with the juries. Remember the name. We find them first. theskykid.com #JuniorEurovision
Alec took his first singing lesson in September 2025. Piano since he was five; the melodies came on their own. "Comment tu vas ?" — he wrote it with Malo'. It asks how you really are, and waits for the answer. The juries heard it. #AlecBurette
