After two worrying calls today, just be aware before you place your apprentice at a college or a training centre, golden rule number 1, check that the tutor is trade specific and sufficiently experienced. Unbelievably some providers use other trades to teach roofers 🤯😬🤬

After a very challenging term for Scotland’s teachers and pupils, my warmest thanks to everyone and good wishes for the summer. Some holidays don’t start quite yet but enjoy them when they do.
Education Secretary @JohnSwinney has sent best wishes to Scotland’s school children and teachers on the last day of term.
