The democrats co-opted the movement for our right to vote, organized with republicans to crush our political organizations and then used the now activated group of voters with no political home…to bolster its own base via Neoliberalism.

This is exactly what has happened.
Democrats co-opted the civil rights movement so thoroughly that ppl think that the fight for our right to vote was so that we could vote for democrats when in reality the majority of that work was done by organizations that ran their own independent candidates.

It wasn't the sexual assault allegations. It wasn't the coup attempt on January 6th. It wasn't the racism. It wasn't the transphobia. It was the price of gas and groceries. As great as last night was, the sad reality is that Americans didn't care until it affected their wallets

Stop asking for Black people’s help y’all need to get y’all people.
Racial breakdown of 2026 midterm exit polls show that Whites are the only group to lean Republican, with Latinos, Asians, and Blacks firmly voting blue. Folllow: @AFpost

She’s not wrong. They thought Black folks were going to be in the streets protesting they needed a reason to call for Marshall law due to civil unrest. Instead we said “nope, y’all got this”
I saw a video where the lady said that Black people fucked up Project 2025 by doing nothing. And she is so right. This administration has done everything they could think of to get Black people in the streets. That was part of the plan they needed before the midterm election.

Yes. Yes it is. 🙃
Wait wait wait so being labeled a "gifted kid" because you read at a college level in 3rd grade, never studied once, and passed every test on pure pattern recognition… only for your brain to completely disintegrate the second life required actual routine executive function… that’s an ADHD thing?!

9/11 is very much retconned into an attack on white people only. You NEVER hear the stories of the people of color who sounded the alarm, were in the cockpits FIGHTING to stop it, were escaping the buildings and leading others to safety.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, LeRoy Wilton Homer Jr. reported for work like he had countless times before. He was a pilot. A husband. A son. A Black man who had earned his place in a cockpit that had never been designed with him in mind. When United Flight 93 was hijacked, LeRoy didn’t disappear into fear. From inside the plane, a calm but urgent voice reached the ground. He relayed what was happening. He fought for time. He fought for lives. And when passengers rose up against terror, he was already standing in resistance. The plane never reached its intended target. It crashed into a field in Pennsylvania instead—because the people onboard, including the pilots, refused to surrender quietly. Because courage lived in that cabin. LeRoy Wilton Homer Jr. died that day at just 36 years old. His name is rarely spoken when 9/11 is remembered. His face is often missing from the narratives. And yet, his sacrifice is inseparable from the lives he helped save. Even in a moment of national mourning, his story reminds us of a painful truth: Black heroism is too often overlooked, even when it costs everything. But history does not forget forever. LeRoy Homer was a Black pilot who faced terror with resolve, who helped prevent even greater loss, and who gave his life in the fight. He deserves to be remembered—not as a footnote, but as a hero.

After Beyoncé performed the national anthem to a pre-recorded backing track at Obama's inauguration in 2013, there was outrage with people saying she couldn't sing and calling for her to be dropped as the 2013 Superbowl halftime show performer. During the press conference for the Superbowl, Beyoncé comes out, asks everyone to stand, then proceeds to sing the national anthem completely in Acapella without even a reverb on the mic. She ended the performance with, "any questions?"

Scientists confirm that adults with unmedicated ADHD often develop anxiety as a compensatory activation mechanism. The body learns that worry produces the chemistry the brain needs to start. The strategy works for decades. The cost is a body running on cortisol that was never meant to be a primary fuel.

The type of MJ lore you have to look for by yourself. The media is too busy telling you how much he hated being Black, hated Black People, didn't uplift them, never did anything for them. His Legacy surviving such history rewriting and character assassinations is a miracle.
fun fact, michael produced a predominantly black musical play based on the tale of Cinderella, called Sisterella back in 1996, the play won 8 NAACP awards, and was nominated 12 times :) it’s a very good musical in which i think everyone should watch !!!

Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it. Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying. Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence." Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter." Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter. They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created. One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility." Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies. That's the metered intelligence business model. And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.

What do you mean Bryan Johnson is doing his weird science shit on his girlfriend but its probably the most comprehensive and highly funded research in women's health and he is probably going to cure endometriosis ?????
Examining Kate’s 1% She has suspected endometriosis. This affects at least 1 in 10 women, likely more. Here she’s getting an ultrasound. Historically you needed surgery just to diagnose it (incisions are made in the abdomen). We're doing a non-invasive route. Typically women live with endometriosis for 7-10 years before being diagnosed. It’s the leading reason women aged 30 to 34 get hysterectomies (permanent surgery to entirely remove the uterus). This condition is where endometrial-like tissue starts growing outside the uterus, in ovaries, bowel, bladder, even the diaphragm. This tissue inflames, scars, and glues organs together. Our first step is to find out if @_katetolo has it. Initial measurements we’re doing: + trans vaginal ultrasound + pelvic MRI w and w/o contrast + hormonal labs All during the early part of her cycle to get the clearest picture. During her ultrasound, a slim probe, about the width of two fingers, 10-12 inches long (although only a small portion is inserted) is covered with a protective sheath and lubricant and gently inserted into the vagina (patient has to empty their bladder first). This creates real-time images of the uterus, ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures. While inserted, the probe is turned 90 degrees to evaluate all the various structures, angles and views. There is no radiation exposure. The technician is looking for scarring, ovarian cysts, adhesions, and for organs that are fused together with tissue. This ultrasound can confirm endometriosis but it cannot rule it out. What endo does to the body: + 90% report pelvic pain + 50% report severe fatigue + 26% report infertility. However many sources cite 30 to 50 percent. + 50% experience pain during sex. + Many have pain with ovulation, bowel movements, and urination + Severe bloating called “endo belly” where the abdomen visibly distends There are a handful of theories about why endometriosis develops but the honest answer is no one is quite sure. We’ll keep you posted on her results.
