Wait, what the f...? How did he know in September?
This is what I mean by culture change in my previous post.
For seasons on end, watching Miami try to salt away a late lead felt like waiting for a house of cards to collapse, so this was pretty refreshing to see.
Seeing Jeff Hafley's boys lock in and execute by the book is evidence that the Jon-Eric Sullivan blueprint is taking root.
Instead of flash and dash, our current regime is building a roster that relishes contact, establishes an actual line of scrimmage and breaks opponents' spirit.
This is becoming our identity, it's nice that we're developing one this soon in the season.
The flash is fine, but give me dirty yards and a winning brand of football every single time.
GREEN BAY PACKERS SOUTH, BABY!
Yes, we do. And we're witnessing a culture change in real time under his and Jon-Eric Sullivan's leadership.
Every few years, a new savior is anointed, only for the organization to revert to its old habits.
This time feels fundamentally different because the architects didn't come in trying to protect the brand, but instead are rebuilding the entire foundation.
Sullivan and Hafley aren't making Miami a trendy pick like the previous regime. These guys are choosing the route of sweat and execution. Ya know, PURE football.
We're essentially becoming Green Bay Packers South. I know that's been joked about before, but that's exactly what's happening.
Don't be surprised to see a Dolphins team that competes for a playoff spot year in and year out in the next 3-5.
The culture change in Miami is real, and it's a beautiful thing to see.
I hear you, David.
But be honest, you know you wanna see this in a Dolphins jersey...
The Dolphins just won a game. They could win more. Some fans may worry that could be detrimental to their draft pick.
I’m here to tell you: Don’t be that guy.
Cherish the victories. They tell you more about the rebuild than a draft slot.

This is actually pretty awesome, but it has me thinking...
What happens if the Dolphins get better and better each week, and we ultimately end up with 5-6 wins this season? What then?
Are y'all fine with losing out on Jeremiah Smith AND Drew Mestemaker?
For everyone saying, “Yeah, but it’s the Jets”…
The Jets entered today ranked:
• 4th in passing defense
• T-5th in scoring defense
• 6th in sacks
• 7th in yards allowed per play
• 9th in total defense
• 12th in 3rd-down defense
Miami came in averaging 14 PPG and scored 21 before halftime.
Give them some credit. #FinsUp
Malik Willis tho...

*Grades are provisional
No matter how you feel about our draft status, whether you feel we should've lost to protect the No. 1 pick or to fight for a win every week, you can't help but to be proud of our boys.
Plus, we beat the STINKIN' JETS!
Take notes. @MiamiDolphins
Pat Narduzzi on Miami:
"We ran into a buzzsaw ... They're the number one team in the country. They're no joke. They're averaging 45 points a game and they're number 1, number 2, number 3 in just about every damn category. I don't know if I've faced a team [like that]."

If we can't get Jeremiah Smith and we're forced to pick a quarterback, screw Drew Undermestetaker and Cooper Manning's son.
I say we get this guy:
Replying to @SleeperMiami
There’s a plan A world & a plan B world at this point. Either Smith or Mestemaker & though Smith should be plan A, Drew has an excellent case as a plan B.
