Streamers always spoke up about the issues with Kick and the changes that needed to be made in order for both Kick and the streamers to grow. The thing is, Kick was originally made to be a streamers platform but when they brought on all these famous people for millions of dollars, it became an influencers platform and got overrun by people doing stupid things for content and making Kick more controversial and a turn off for the ones who were actually streaming for the platform. Any streamer who is in it for the right reasons will tell you that it's never about the money (yes, it's a bonus and the 95/5 is great). It's about having a platform that feels good and where we can all just vibe as streamers to work together for the content we make, the games we play and for the communities we value. Siefe nailed it. If Kick doesn't truly listen to the streamers and actually execute, then Kick could very well be another Mixer and Facebook gaming.
