Always remember watching Clough, when asked how Forest will cope with Manny Kaltz, Hamburg’s right-back, then one of the best defenders in Europe: RIP John. Gave me a great Memory in 1981 when I went to Wembley and he scored the only goal of the game from a penalty. 💙 🏴

We’ve got a little fat lad, that’ll turn him inside out…
Get that stand named the John Robertson Bridgford End. Yes, keep the Bridgford, the two go together perfectly 👌

Fuck left vs right.
Forget rich vs poor.
Never mind race, religion or personal politics.
If we don’t all unite now against digital ID, we are finished.

Mandatory isn't lawful. When it comes to the attempted tyranny that is digital VD, that's all you need to know.

Anyone who supports ID cards on the grounds that “if you’ve got nothing to hide you have nothing to worry about” should be banned from having curtains.

This should absolutely terrify you.
We live in an age of rising authoritarianism.
The prospect of a right-wing authoritarian government in the UK is far from a fantasy.
Combine with ever more sophisticated surveillance tech - and consider how dissent could be made impossible.
BREAKING: Digital ID to be made law for all adults in the UK.
The proposals are the government's latest attempt to tackle illegal immigration, with the ID serving as a form of proof of the right to live and work in the UK.

Tony Benn’s 5 key questions:
“What power have you got?
Where did you get it from?
In whose interests do you exercise it?
To whom are you accountable?
How do we get rid of you?
And if you can’t get rid of the people who govern you, you don’t live in a democratic system.”

If Newcastle beat Arsenal tomorrow, they’ll go 2nd in the table. Eddie Howe hasn’t had a single first-team signing across the last three windows. He’s been without his best CB (Botman) for most of the season and lost his best LB (Lewis Hall) for the crucial final months.
He’s had to run Isak into the ground due to Wilson’s injury issues, and lost both Minteh and Anderson in the summer — players who 100% would’ve helped this squad.
Despite all that, he’s gotten the very best out of players like Murphy, Schär, and Joelinton — guys who were already at the club under Steve Bruce.
He’s delivered Newcastle’s first domestic trophy in 70 years… and could still finish above Arsenal and Man City, two pre-season title favourites.

How many own goals does someone have to score, before you start to entertain the idea that they might just be doing it on purpose?
